"SauceWon234" Eliminated in 7th Place ($272 + $325 in Bounties)

"SauceWon234"
"SauceWon234"

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, "SauceWon234" saw action fold around to the cutoff and jammed for 141,000. Both "Lanfeust" in the small blind and "BelblixteredOG" in the big blind called to give "SauceWon234" a chance at a triple.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and "Lanfeust" checked. "BelblixteredOG" bet 227,000 and "Lanfeust" folded.

"SauceWon234": {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
"BelblixteredOG": {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Both players turned two pair as {a-Hearts} appeared, giving "SauceWon234" seven new outs at a chop. That was the closest they would get to staying alive, however, as the river fell {5-Diamonds} to send them to the virtual rail in seventh place.

"Lanfeust" Pulls Ahead

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, "Lanfeust" has taken down the majority of hands in the last orbit and has amassed the chip lead with a stack of nearly 900,000. Updated chip counts are as follows

"triplewham42" Wins a Flip To Double

"triplewham42"
"triplewham42"

In Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, "bertdoggy" opened to 42,000 in the cutoff and "triplewham42" three-bet jammed in the big blind for 241,000. "bertdoggy" thought for about 15 seconds and then made a call, sending the two players off to the races.

"triplewham": {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
"bertdoggy": {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}"

"triplewham" was ahead with their pocket pair and needed to hold against "bertdoggy's" two overcards. They did just that as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} to score them the double.

"Jonuzi" Eliminated in 8th Place ($202 + $20 in Bounties)

"Jonuzi"
"Jonuzi"

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, "Jonuzi" got all in preflop in middle position against "bertdoggy," who as in the cutoff.

"Jonuzi": {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
"bertdoggy": {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

"Jonuzi" was poised for the double going to the flop, which came {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Unfortunately for them, the turn {j-Diamonds} was disastrous, and they were unable to get a suckout of their own on the river {4-Hearts} to result in them taking eighth place in the tournament.

"triplewham42" Chips Up Nicely

"triplewham42"
"triplewham42"

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, Daniel "centrfieldr23" opened to 24,000 under the gun and was three-bet to 36,000 by "Triplewham42" on his direct left. "bertdoggy" cold-called on the button, as did both "Lanfeust" in the small blind and "BelblixteredOG" in the big blind. Lupo also called to take action five ways to the streets.

The flop dropped {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and action checked to "triplewham42," who shoved for 179,000 and quickly received four folds to earn the pot.

"CoachD" Eliminated in 9th Place ($136 + $231 in Bounties)

"CoachD"
"CoachD"

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, "CoachD" jammed for 69,000 in the cutoff and Clayton “claytonfletcher” Fletcher called in the big blind.

"CoachD": {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Clayton “claytonfletcher” Fletcher: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

A queen came on the flop {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to give Fletcher a pair of queens, leaving "CoachD" needing to hit a three outer to stay alive. They did not do so as the turn {4-Diamonds} and river {7-Diamonds} completed the runout and they were eliminated from the tournament in ninth place.

Lupo Takes the Chip Lead

Daniel Lupo
Daniel Lupo

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo opened to 20,000 in the hijack and received a call from "SauceWon234," defending their big blind. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and action went check-check, bringing the turn {a-Spades}.

"SauceWon234" checked again and Lupo bet 27,000. "SauceWon234" check-raised to 90,000 and Lupo called. The river fell {10-Diamonds} and "SauceWon234" bet another 128,000. Lupo called.

"SauceWon234" showed {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} for aces up, and Lupo tabled {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a rivered straight to earn him the pot and take his stack up to 840,000, making him the chip leader with nine players still remaining.

A Flurry of Eliminations Brings About the Final Table

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, "MoZZyNJ," "Badbeat1512," and "cenation" were eliminated in rapid-fire succession to bring the field from 12 players down to nine. With the three eliminations, the nine remaining players are now all at the final table.

Chip counts from the nine remaining players have leveled out, with the top five players all within 100,000 of each other as "BelblixteredOG" still remains atop the counts. "CoachD" sits in ninth place, though they still have nearly 15 big blinds worth of chips to play with.

"cenation" Doubles, Leaves "Badbeat1512" Short

"cenation"
"cenation"

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, a blind-on-blind situation saw preflop action get all of the chips in the middle, with "cenation" at risk in the small blind against "Badbeat1512" in the big blind.

"cenation": {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}
"Badbeat1512": {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

"cenation" connected with the flop {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}, hitting a three outer to make top pair. The turn {q-Clubs} and river {7-Diamonds} left the situation unchanged, and their pair of eights earned them the double. "Badbeat1512" was left with just a handful of big blinds after losing the pot, and now finds themselves short.

Meanwhile, "Jinxy" was eliminated shortly after the bubble burst, leaving 12 players remaining in the tournament.
