"phillychzsteak1" Coolered Twice To Bubble Event #6

"phillychzsteak1"
"phillychzsteak1"

In Level 18 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, "CoachD" limped in middle position and "phillychzsteak1" raised to 24,000 in the hijack. Action made its way back to "CoachD," who limp-jammed for 195,000.

"phillychzsteak1" went into the tank for close to a minute and eventually found a call.

"CoachD": {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
"phillychzsteak1": {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

"phillychzsteak1" found themselves in poor shape and got no help on the runout {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, resulting in the pot of over 400,000 being shipped to "CoachD."

"phillychzsteak1" was left with 45,000 and got it in on the very next hand against "CoachD" once more.

"phillychzsteak1": {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"CoachD": {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Despite a king coming on the flop {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, "phillychzsteak1" was unable to improve to anything beyond their opponent's aces as the turn {9-Spades} and river {3-Hearts} completed the runout to result in their 14th-place finish in the tournament, bursting the bubble to bring play into the money.

Hand-For-Hand Play Begins as "Belblixtered" Hits a Double-Knockout

"BelblixteredOG"
"BelblixteredOG"

In Level 17 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875, "Kelvingoku" limped under the gun and "BelbliteredOG" limped behind in middle position. Action folded around to "overendwatts" in the big blind, who checked their option to take action three ways to a flop of {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

"overendwatts" checked and "Kelvingoku" shoved for 96,000, three times the size of the pot. "BelblixteredOG" called to put action back onto "overendwatts," who check-raised all in for 299,000. "BelblixteredOG" called once more.

"Kelvingoku": {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
"overendwatts": {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}
"BelblixteredOG": {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

"overendwatts" had flopped two pair and was firmly in front of both other players' top pair. However, the turn {10-Diamonds} and river {5-Diamonds} quickly rolled off to give "BelblixteredOG" a backdoor flush, scoring them the pot of over 700,000 and two knockouts to go along with it.

After the double-elimination, 14 players now remain. One elimination is needed to reach the money and hand-for-hand play has begun across the two tables left in play.

"KingsWin" Holds To Double

"KingsWin"
"KingsWin"

In Level 16 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and an ante of 750, "Jinxy" opened to 15,000 in early position and "KingsWin" called in the cutoff. Action went heads up to a flop of {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} and "Jinxy" bet 34,000. "KingsWin" called all in for less, totaling 22,000.

"KingsWin": {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
"Jinxy": {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

"KingsWin" was out in front and stayed there as the turn {2-Diamonds} and river {j-Diamonds} finished the runout, leaving their two pair best to earn them the double.

Hohner Finds a Dub; Coleman and "varsity51" Eliminated

Ryan Hohner
Ryan Hohner

In Level 15 with blinds of 2,500/5,000 and an ante of 625, Ryan "TheSims" Hohner jammed for 52,000 and received a call from "BelblixeredOG," who was on the button.

Ryan "TheSims" Hohner: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
"BelblixteredOG": {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Hohner saw a smooth runout of {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} come to leave his opponent drawing dead on the turn en route to a double. Moments after, "varsity51" and David “TheKing411” Coleman were eliminated on adjacent tables to bring the tournament down to two full tables with just 18 players remaining.

Vanauken Showered

"alwaysliquid"
"alwaysliquid"

In Level 14 with blinds of 2,000/4,000 and an ante of 500, Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken got all in preflop for just under 20 big blinds on the button against "phillychzsteak1," who was under the gun.

Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
"phillychzsteak1": {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Vanauken found himself in a cooler situation and the flop {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} left him with nothing but backdoor outs. The turn {k-Diamonds} gave him two immediate outs to double on the river, but neither came as the final card fell {8-Clubs} to complete the runout and result in his elimination from the tournament.

Others to drop recently include Ross “Thehebrewhammer” Gottleib, Michael “UFOLDIWIN” St. John, "IReadYrSoul," and "eddie11" to bring the number of players left in the field down to 20.

"SauceWon234" Doubles

"SauceWon234"
"SauceWon234"

In Level 13 with blinds of 1,800/3,600 and an ante of 450, preflop action saw all of the chips go into the middle between "Trademart" in the cutoff and "SauceWon234," who was in the small blind.

"SauceWon234": {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
"Trademart": {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The two players found themselves in a classic coin flip situation with "Trademart" having an opportunity at a knockout. Instead, the board ran out {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to leave them with the second-best hand as "SauceWon234" hit a set of tens on the river to secure the double. "Trademart" was left on fumes and was eliminated a couple of hands later.
