"pure_reason" started the final table in the middle of the pack, and he would mostly chip up through small pots, as he was not involved in any of the big all in pots in the first half of the final table. That would change though, when "pure_reason" secured a big double up, thanks to a fortunate run out.

After that, it was a massive flip against "Domi34" that saw "pure_reason" take the chip lead, and he wouldn't look back from there. "pure_reason" would score the final two knockouts of the day, finishing "nevermuk" off in style with big slick.

Congratulations to everyone who made the final table, and don't forget that this latest partypoker series wraps up tomorrow with the $215 Six-Max Main Event, which starts up at 5 PM ET!

"nevermuk" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($4,011)

Though they started the heads up battle fairly even in chips, it was "pure_reason" who dominated the duel. He whittled "nevermuk" down to less than a million before the two got the chips in preflop in a coin flip. "nevermuk" would win that flip, but a few hands later, he was all in and well behind, holding {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} to the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} of "pure_reason." The flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} meant that both players were now hoping to pair the other player's kicker, which is exactly what "pure_reason" would do on the turn. No chop on the river meant that "pure_reason" became the winner!

"nevermuk" will take home $4,011 for his efforts, but the title, and first place prize money of $6,159, goes to "pure_reason." Stay tuned for a full recap to be posted shortly.

"SugarJ" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($2,910)

On the very next hand, "SugarJ" would get his short stack in holding pocket decues. However, he was dominated by the sevens held by "pure_reason." Some low cards were come on the board but no deuces, giving the pot to "pure_reason."

After that pot, "pure_reason" takes the chip lead heading into this heads up battle.

"nevermuk" Spikes River to Double

It looked like they would get to heads up play rather quickly in this event, as "nevermuk" was all in and well behind with {a-Spades}{4-Spades} against the pocket eights of "SugarJ". The flop and turn were both safe for "SugarJ" but just like that, an ace came down on the river to give "nevermuk" the unlikely huge double up into the chip lead.

"IReadYrSoul" Crippled, Eliminated in 6th Place

"IReadYrSoul" moved all in for his final 650,000, and in the big blind, "pure_reason" called for just a few chips less than "IReadYrSoul".

"pure_reason": {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
"IReadYrSoul": {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The flop would bring two pair for "IReadYrSoul", but also gave "pure_reason" a straight draw. A king on the turn gave him a few more outs but it was the straight that would come through on the river.

This left "IReadYrSoul" with just one big blind, and those chips would go in the middle on the next hand. "SugarJ" ended up putting the final nail in his coffin.

"nevermuk" Doubles Into the Chip Lead

Action folded around to "Doni34" on the button, and he raised to 175,000. Next to act, "nevermuk" moved all in for his final 650,000 and change. "Doni34" would call with pocket eights, but he was well behind the tens of "nevermuk." Neither player would improve on the board, keeping the text out in front the whole time.
