Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier Eliminated in 7th Place ($850.50 + $1,031.25 in Bounties)

Brian Sherrier
Brian Sherrier

In Level 25 with blinds of 14,000/28,000 and an ante of 3,500, Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier raised all in for 297,225 from the button and Yong "IReadYrSoul" Kwon called from the big blind.

Yong "IReadYrSoul" Kwon: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Sherrier held the better hand and nothing changed after the {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop.

The {a-Clubs} turn paired Sherrier but it also gave him a sweat as it gave Kwon the club flush draw.

Unfortunately for Sherrier, the {8-Clubs} appeared on the river completing Kown's flush and eliminating Sherrier is seventh place.

In Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, Daniel "centrfielder23" Lupo raised from the button and then called "Edsebo's" 118,433 three-bet jam from the big blind.

"Edsebo": {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Daniel "centrfielder23" Lupo: {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

"Edsebo" was behind holding live cards but didn't get any help from the {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} runout and their tournament ended in eighth place.

"FRIELnGood" Bubbles Leaving the Remaining Players in the Money

In Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, "FRIELnGood" was all in preflop for 118,550 holding {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Yong "IReadYrSoul" Kwon called holding {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

"FRIELnGood" was ahead until the {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} flop appeared pairing Kwon's king.

The {2-Clubs} turn didn't change a thing, nor did the {7-Hearts} river and "FRIELnGood" was eliminated on the money bubble.

Hohner's Hot Streak Ends

Ryan Hohner
Ryan Hohner

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, Ryan “TheSims” Hohner open-jammed for 145,789 from the hijack and Ross “thehebrewhammer” Gottleib called from the big blind.

Ryan “TheSims” Hohner: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Ross “thehebrewhammer” Gottleib: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Hohner was behind holding live cards and the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop gave him more outs with a gutshot straight draw.

The {j-Diamonds} on the turn didn't change a thing as Hohner needed any king, queen or ten to win the hand.

Unfortunately for Hohner, the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river ending his tournament before the money.

Forlenza Spikes Ace to Double Through Donovan

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, John "Slapshot1085" Forlenza opened with a raise from under the gun and then called off his 268,548 stack after Keith "ClarkWesterfeld" Donovan three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind.

John "Slapshot1085" Forlenza: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Keith "ClarkWesterfeld" Donovan: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Forlenza had Donovan dominated and paired his ace after the {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop appeared.

The {3-Clubs} turn brought chop outs if another club were to fall on the river but instead the {3-Diamonds} paired the board and secured Forlenza's double-up.
