"skip-973" Falls Short of the Final Table

skip-973
skip-973

In Level 26 with blinds of 16,000/32,000 and an ante of 4,000, "skip-973" had gotten all in on the button against "CharlieLucky" in the big blind and the runout was in the process of coming {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

"skip-973": {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
"CharlieLucky": {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

"skip-973" was unable to fade their opponent's overcards as the runout left "CharlieLucky" with a higher two pair to result in them being eliminated in seventh place.

Six now remain, and updated counts from the final table will be provided momentarily.

Hand-For-Hand Play Begins on the Final Table Bubble

"MakiNuReload"
"MakiNuReload"

In Level 25 with blinds of 14,000/28,000 and an ante of 3,500, "MakiNuReload" got their last 167,000 all in from the small blind and received action from Kevin "sofcknsick" Campbell in the big blind.

"MakiNuReload": {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Kevin "sofcknsick" Campbell: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

"MakiNuReload" flopped a nine to pull ahead, but a running {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} gave Campbell a wheel and eliminated "MakiNuReload" in eighth place. With seven remaining, one more elimination is needed for the tournament to reach the final table and hand-for-hand play is in effect on the two remaining tables in play until that occurs.

"skip-973" Can't Be Felted

"skip-973"
"skip-973"

In Level 25 with blinds of 14,000/28,000 and an ante of 3,500, all of the chips had gone in the middle with "skip-973" in the cutoff and at risk for their tournament life after receiving action from "CharlieLucky" in the small blind. When all was said and done, the board read {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

"skip-973": {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}
"CharlieLucky": {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

"skip-973" had gotten it in with the best hand in their pair of queens and it remained best, improving to two pair as a couple of sixes showed up on the runout to earn the double.

On the very next hand, "CharlieLucky" got stacks in against Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski and their kings lost to Tentnowski's aces, making it two doubles in two hands as play continues with eight left across two tables.

"r87996541" Next To Bust

"r87996541"
"r87996541"

In Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, "r87996541" got the last of their chips into the middle preflop in the cutoff and received action from Kevin "sofcknsick" Campbell in the small blind.

"r87996541": {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Kevin "sofcknsick" Campbell: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

"r87996541" saw their fives become no good as the flop {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} gave Campbell the nut flush. No running full house outs came as the turn {q-Spades} and river {10-Diamonds} completed the runout and Campbell earned the pot and the knockout to bring the number of players left in the tournament down to eight.

White and Himpele Fall

"rumpthumper"
"rumpthumper"

In Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, Chris "rumpthumper" White three-bet shoved for 139,000 on the button over an open from "CharlieLucky" in the hijack and received a call.

Chris "rumpthumper" White: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
"CharlieLucky": {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}

"CharlieLucky" made like their name on the flop {3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, leaving White with one immediate out along with backdoor flush- and Broadway outs to stay alive. Those backdoor outs were nixed on the turn {5-Spades}, and the one outer failed to come on the river {8-Spades} to spell his elimination.

Moments earlier, Don "dhimp20" Himpele was also eliminated, following in the footsteps of "l3illal30ng" who also found the rail shortly after the final two tables were reached. The trio of eliminations brings the field down to nine.

"CharlieLucky" Adds Two To the Post-Bubble Bust Out Tally; Two Tables Remain

"CharlieLucky"
"CharlieLucky"

In Level 23 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 2,500, four-way preflop action between "l3illal30ng" in the small blind, "Jinxy" in the big blind, "Bigtexas" in the cutoff, and "CharlieLucky", who was on the button saw 172,000 go into the middle.

"l3illal30ng" bet 20,000 on a flop of {3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and then "Jinxy" raised to 110,000, almost all in. "Bigtexas" shoved over the top for 183,000 and "CharlieLucky" did the same for 713,000. "l3illal30ng" went deep into the tank and then found a fold, sending action back to "Jinxy" to call off what was left.

"Jinxy": {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}
"Bigtexas": {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}
"CharlieLucky": {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}

"CharlieLucky" proved to have too much to miss as the turn {8-Diamonds} gave them a straight. They held on the river {5-Diamonds} and scored the double knockout as a result.

"leoliondog", "ashylarry" and "Shipit2488" were also eliminated once the bubble burst, and "jitney0999" finally fell shortly after the double knockout. In total, that brings six eliminations, and two tables now remain as a result.

"La_Flama_Blanca" Is Extinguished on the Bubble

"La_Flama_Blanca"
"La_Flama_Blanca"

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, "La_Flama_Blanca" was all in for their last 5,100 in the big blind. Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and forced everyone else out to bring about a heads-up showdown.

"La_Flama_Blanca": {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The flop {7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} gave Tentnowski a pair of Queens but "La_Flama_Blanca" still had outs to a set and a flush. Unfortunately for them, the turn {k-Clubs} and river {2-Clubs} left their hand unimproved and they finished in 19th place, bursting the bubble as a result.

All 18 who remain are now officially in the money.

Take Five (full)

It's time for another five-minute break as "skip-973" has once again found a way to stay alive after being forced all in from the big blind. When play resumes, "La_Flama_Blanca" will be all in for their last 7,000 in the big blind, while "ashylarry" will be forced all in shortly thereafter should "La_Flama_Blanca" survive as well. "leoliondog" also has less than one big blind and will be in the small blind in the very next hand, meaning they will be forced in shortly as well regardless of what happens.

Complete chip counts from the final 19 have been posted below.
