Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj Wins WPT Online Borgata Series powered by partypoker US Network Main Event ($77,349)

On Monday night, the World Poker Tour Online Borgata Series powered by partypoker US Network wrapped up its 10-event series with the conclusion of the $1,060 Main Event, a tournament that drew 440 entries and offered up a $432,700 prize pool.

The final table of eight battled it out for a $77,349 top prize, plus a Hublot Big Bang E Titanium watch valued at $5,200, and after 3.5 hours of play, it was Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj coming out on top to claim his second WPT-related title. Sinishtaj previously won the WPT Seminole Rock Poker Showdown in Season XVI for $661,283.

In the live realm, Sinishtaj has amassed more than $1.6 million in lifetime earnings. In addition to his career-high WPT win, he also finished second in the 2013 World Series of Poker Harrah’s Atlantic City for $107,673 and first in the 2017 Borgata Summer Poker Open Event #10: $400 NLH for $95,000.

Sinishtaj’s latest victory came after besting Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh in a back-and-forth heads-up match. By doing so, he denied Huynh his second prestigious title of the year after he had topped a 2,545-entry field to win July’s 2020 WSOP Event #19: $400 No-Limit Hold'em attracted for $133,8567 and a gold bracelet.

7Sanjeev "sandman9876" Datta$14,062.75
8Chris “rumpthumper” White$9,735.75

Right out of the gate, Sinishtaj took the lead by winning a pot of Huynh, and from there Chris “rimpthumper” White was the first to fall after losing a flip with pocket queens to the Big Slick of “a_stormy_knight”.

Sinishtaj then dispatched Sanjeev “sandman9876” Datta after making a full house with ten-six against ace-jack in an all-in preflop, blind-versus-blind hand. Not long after, Mark “KnowClue1” Tobino and Sinishtaj got the chips in preflop with each holding king-ten. It looked like a chop until Sinishtaj flopped a club flush draw and turned it to dispatch Tobino in sixth place.

Sinishtaj then picked up pocket kings to eliminate Anthony "supremetny" Chin, who three-bet jammed with ace-ten in another blind-on-blind hand. WPT Season XII Player of the Year Mukul "nevermuk" Pahuja was next to go after losing a flip with pocket threes to the ace-ten of Huynh, and “a_stormy_knight” bowed out in third after having queens cracked after Huynh turned a flush.

Sinishtaj took 74 million into heads-up play against Huynh, who began with 34 million. The former whittled away at the latter, who eventually doubled. The duo continued to battle, with Huynh even taking over the lead for a short stint, but eventually, Sinishtaj closed it out thanks to an ace kicker after both players flopped top pair of queens.

In Level 45 (320,000/640,000/80,000), Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj raised to 1.3 million holding the {9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh defended with the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, which brought about a flop of {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Huynh Doubles Through Sinishtaj

In Level 43 (260,000/520,000/65,000), Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj had extended his lead considerably when Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh opened for 1.3 million. Sinishtaj three-bet to 4.2 million, Huynh called, and the flop came down {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Sinishtaj continued for 2.5 million and then called when Huynh moved all in for 12.2 million.

Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh: {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Sinishtaj had top pair but Huynh had both straight and flush draws. The {10-Spades} turn was of no consequence but the {7-Hearts} river was as Huynh made his flush to stay alive.

"a_stormy_knight" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($43,919.05)

With the blinds at 240,000/480,000/60,000, Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh raised the button to 1,056,000 and called when "a_stormy_knight" three-bet to 3,408,000 from the small blind.

When the flop came down {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, "a_stormy_knight" continued for 1.68 million and then called off for around 6 million after Huynh moved all in.

"a_stormy_knight": {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Huynh had straight and flush draws while "a_stormy_knight" had the overpair. The {7-Diamonds} turn gave Huynh the diamond flush and "a_stormy_knight" was drawing dead headed to the river, which came the meaningless {8-Clubs}.

Mukul "nevermuk" Pahuja Eliminated in 4th Place ($33,101.55)

Mukul Pahuja
Mukul Pahuja

In Level 41 (220,000/440,000/55,000), Mukul "nevermuk" Pahuja jammed for 5.5 million from the small blind and Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh looked him up from the big.

Mukul "nevermuk" Pahuja: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Kenny "chaposticks" Huynh: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

It was a flip and Pahuja was just looking to hold. Unfortunately for the WPT Season XII Player of the Year, that proved easier said than done as the board ran out {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} to give Huynh the better two pair.
