Updated Chip Counts

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Rafael Yaraliyev
Rafael Yaraliyev

Rafael Yaraliyev shoved on the button for about 900,000. Big blind Grigoriy Shvarts took some thinking time then announced a call.

Rafael Yaraliyev: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Grigoriy Shvarts: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

With rapid speed, the dealer fired out a board of {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Yaraliyev took the lead on the turn but went bust when Shvarts paired up on the river.

Jamil Picked Off

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

AJ Jamil defended big blind and check-called 175,000 from Grigoriy Shvarts on {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Both players checked the {9-Clubs} and Jamil bet 375,000 on the {j-Spades} river. Shvarts thought briefly and called, and his {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} was good against {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Rotholz Has All the Goods

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

It looked like Grigoriy Shvarts bet 200,000 from the big blind on {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and Hal Rotholz called from under the gun. Shvarts bet 400,000 on the {q-Diamonds} river and Rotholz slid in a raise to about 900,000. He wasn't even done moving the chips in before Shvarts' cards were in the muck.

Rotholz showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} with a chuckle.

Rotholz Doubles Through Shvarts

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Hal Rotholz got his last 400,000 in against Grigoriy Shvarts. Rotholz had flopped the nuts with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and had it locked in against Shvarts' {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Peter Ippolito Eliminated in 6th Place ($15,547)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Peter Ippolito
Peter Ippolito

After a raising war, Peter Ippolito was all in on the button with {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} against Thomas Parkes' {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} from the small blind. The {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} had Parkes in need on the river but the dealer delivered with the {a-Hearts}.

Stacks were counted down and Ippolito's 2.7 million or so was covered by Parkes.

Last Pot Before Break to Ippolito

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Peter Ippolito opened for 110,000 in the cutoff and both blinds called. They checked to him on {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} and he continued for an unknown amount, called by only Grigoriy Shvarts in the small blind. Shvarts check-called 325,000 on the {5-Spades} and then tanked awhile before checking the {10-Hearts} river. Ippolito bet 450,000 and won the pot in short order.

Players are now on break.

Rotholz Has a Pulse Again

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Hal Rotholz doubled up with {q-}{10-} against the {5-}{5-} of Thomas Parkes, flopping a queen and holding to get up to 500,000. Then, he shoved in the cutoff only to run into the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} of Peter Ippolito in the big blind.

Rotholz had {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and flopped a flush draw on {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-}. The {4-Hearts} turn brought the flush in and the {9-Hearts} river didn't fill Ippolito up.

Rotholz on Crumbs

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Hal Rotholz raised to 110,000 and Peter Ippolito shoved in the small blind. It was 1,310,000, and Rotholz took more than two minutes to think it over before flicking in a chip. He immediately regretted it as Ippolito showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Rotholz was crushed with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and the {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board left him with naught but eight-high.

Left with 75,000 Rotholz got it in multi-way next hand and survived.
