Stillings Blasts Two Out

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Rollande Stillings, in an earlier event.
Rollande Stillings, in an earlier event.

Five players saw an {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Spades} flop for about 1,300 apiece, and action checked to the hijack, where a player bet 4,000. The big blind called, but Rollande Stillings wanted to play for more under the gun, piling in a raise to 15,000. Both the bettor and the caller folded in a hurry, and Stillings raked in a sizable pot.

Liang's Bet Causes Snap-Fold

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Li Liang put in a reraise to 2,400 in the small blind but it didn't occur her opponents under the gun or on the button as both called to see the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop. Liang continued for 3,500 and only the player under the gun called. Both checked the {6-Hearts}, bringing a {q-Spades}. Liang bet about 7,000 but the bet didn't stay in long because it was met with a snap-fold.

Malinin's Bluff Gets There

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Andrey Malinin
Andrey Malinin

Andrey Malinin put about 2,000 in preflop second to act in a pot against Adam Cho on his right. The {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop saw Cho check-call 2,000, and he check-called a further 4,500 on the {8-Spades} turn. On the {9-Spades} river, both players checked.

"I don't have a spade," Cho said. "You got a spade?"

Malinin shook his head but announced a straight, tabling {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. It was a winner.
