The final starting flight of the Big Stax XXXI 300 is set to kick off at 10 a.m. local time today at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Yesterday saw a total of 284 entries come out for the third starting flight and at the end of the night, 45 players found a bag for Day 2.

So far, there have been 827 total entries coming from 498 unique players. The combined starting flights have seen 11 players find a bag for Sunday's Day 2.

Bagging the top five stacks at end of Day 1c were Yijun Linl (363,000), Michael Dalessandro (350,500), Margaret Bartelle (327,000). Guoliang Chen (306,500), and David Meschel (304,500).

Other players that that found a bag and advanced to Day 2 include Justin Mills (293,000), Rick Lee (290,000), Andrew Porter (280,000), John Malczan (173,000), and JBrian Wee (111,000).

Parx Big Stax XXXI 300 Outlook

The tournament will start players with 30,000 in chips and cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. for Day 1d. Just like the first two starting flights, today will play through fifteen 45-minute levels. The surviving players will combine for Day 2 action on Sunday, September 29 at 11 a.m. with the final table set to play out on Monday, September 30 with a start time of noon.

15-minute breaks will occur after levels 3, 6 and 12 on each Day 1 with a 75-minute dinner break at 6:30 p.m. It is an unlimited re-entry and best-stack-forward event. Late registration and re-entry will be available until Level 17 begins.

Xenos Sends the Table Into Frenzy with Eight-Three Off

George Xenos opened action with a raise from the cutoff and Vladimir Peck three-bet to 2,000 from the big blind. Action was back on Xenos who called to see a flop.

Both players checked to see the turn. Peck announced a bet of 27,000 and Xenos called leaving himself only 400 behind.

The river dropped a and Peck asked Xeno how much he had left and he replied, "400."

Peck tossed out the 400 and Xenos snapped him off saying, "straight," as he tabled .

Peck tossed his into the muck and walked away in disbelief.

The board read , Lui fired out 4,000 into a 3,000 and was called by his opponent.

Lui continued for 12,000 after the fell on the river and his opponent paid him off.

Dangelico Gets Triple Up from Lee and Ega

There was three-way action that saw a flop.

Jimmy Lee checked his option from early position and Gopi Ega fired out 5,000 into a 4,700 pot from middle position. Michael Dangelico raised all in for 10,000 on the button and was called by Lee. Action was back on Ega who jammed for 3,500 more and Lee was priced in for the call.

Each player hit the flop but Dangelico flopped the nuts holding the staright flush draw as well.

The turn came the and Lee needed a heart to fall to score the double elimination.

After two initial limpers, Matthew Turner raised to 2,000 from middle position and the small blind player three-bet to 5,000.

Action was back on the under-the-gun player who jammed for 21,900 and Rick Chang came over the top sitting directly to his left. Turner mucked his hand and the small blind player called after getting a confirmed 27,500 for Chang's stack.
