Day 2 of the Big Stax XXXI 300 is set to kick-off at 11 a.m. local time today here at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Yesterday's final starting flight attracted 556 total entries which, combined with the other three starting flights, combined for a total of 1383 entries coming from 819 unique players.
Today will see 187 from that total return but that number will still grow as registration is still open for the first hour of play or in other words, at the end of level 16. There were 1,359 entries to end the final flight from lats year with Day 2 attracting an extra 43 entries bringing the grand total of 1402, which generated a $399,570 prizepool. With the numbers already higher this year heading into Day 2, players can expect that number to be increased.

With 187 players finding a bag for Day 2, there are is still a lot of poker to be played with plenty of other players outside the top ten. Other players that that found a bag and advanced to Day 2 include Gregory Fishberg (336,500), Judy Bielan (329,000), Dan DaConti (242,500), defending champ James Lillis (184,500) and 2017 back-to-back champion Joe Palma (171,000).
Cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. with play starting at level 16 where blinds will be 2,500/5,000/5,000. Day 2 levels will increase to 60-mins with breaks occurring after every two levels with a 75- minute dinner break coming at the end of level 21. Registration and re-entry will be open until the beginning level 17. Redraws will occur when 27, 18 and 10 players remain, with Day 2 ending when either level 25 is completed or the final table is reached.

The flop was checked to Serebrinskiy who fire out 20,000 and Nguyen smooth called while the big blind player mucked his hand.
Nguyen checked the turn and Serebrinskiy m0oved all in getting snapped off by Nguyen.
