All Square

William Reynolds raised to 85,000 on the button and Will Molson called from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Molson bet 115,000. Reynolds called, delivering the {J-Clubs} on the river. Molson checked, prompting a bet of 150,000 from Reynolds. Molson was not done with the hand, raising to 420,000.

Reynolds immediately called with {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, but his hand was beaten by Molson's {Q-?}{J-Hearts}.

The stacks are now nearly even.

Reynolds Takes First Pot

On the first hand of heads-up play, Will Molson had the button and raised to 110,000. William Reynolds made the call and then flop came down {10-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. Both players checked, bringing them to the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Reynolds led the turn for a bet of 165,000 and Molson called. The river card completed the board with the {A-Hearts} and both players checked.

Reynolds showed {J-Spades} {10-Spades} and Molson held {K-?} {9-?} without a heart. Reynolds took the first pot of heads-up play.

With that pot, heads-up play has now lasted longer than it did last year, which took only one hand between Molson and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

Familiar Territory for Molson

Will Molson is heads-up in the PCA High Roller event. If that sounds familiar, it is because he was in this same spot last year when he and Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier battled for the title.

Grospellier won the match, but Molson still captured $228,000 for second place. He's improved upon that score this year and hopes to capture the title.

Michiel Brummelhuis Eliminated in 4th Place ($154,350)

Michiel Brummelhuis - 4th Place
Michiel Brummelhuis - 4th Place
On the first hand of the new level, Michiel Brummelhuis moved all in from under the gun for around 350,000. Action folded to William Reynolds in the big blind and he snap-called, waking up with two aces.

Reynolds: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Brummelhuis: {Q-Spades} {9-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}, but there wasn't much there for Brummelhuis. The turn card added a sweat with the {J-Diamonds}, giving Brummelhuis an open-ended straight draw.

The river card was the {7-Diamonds} and it was close, but not what Brummelhuis needed. He was eliminated in 4th place.
