and Oliver stayed on the gas, betting 1.15 million with his gutshot straight draw and undercards to the board. Stein decided to float, but Sowers didn't go anywhere with his top pair. He also called.

and Oliver picked up a pair. He checked and Stein checked behind. Sowers also checked top pair.
The river completed the board with the
to give Oliver a six-high straight using his lowly deuce. He fired at the pot, betting 1.875 million. Stein folded and Sowers went into the tank with top pair. He tanked for a bit and then made a solid decision to release his hand.
The big pot was pushed Oliver's way and his stack moved to 22.4 million. Sowers was left with 6.26 million.

Sowers was sick when he saw Oliver's hand and needed running straight cards or a four for a set.
