Kings for Stein

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 15,000 ante

From under the gun, Chris Oliver raised to 340,000 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Sam Stein picked up the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} and three-bet to 860,000 from the next seat. Action folded back to Oliver and he made the call.

The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Oliver checked. Stein fired 1.23 million and won the pot.

This hand is interesting because Oliver normally gets pretty crazy with three-, four- and five-bets preflop. He's even six-bet a few times this tournament and it surprised a lot of viewers knowing his style that this pot didn't get a lot bigger prelop.

Sowers Above 10 Million

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 15,000 ante

Sowers raised to 340,000 out of the small blind with {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Chris Oliver called with {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} in the big.

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Sowers checked, Oliver bet 410,000 and Sowers calls.

Both players checked the {a-Diamonds} on the turn and the river was the {2-Hearts}. Sowers led for 930,000 and Oliver quickly folded.

Sowers is not above 10 million chips.

Bolivar Palacios Eliminated in 6th Place ($450,000)

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Bolivar Palacios - 6th Place
Bolivar Palacios - 6th Place

Galen Hall raised to 320,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Bolivar Palacios reraised all in for around 1.6 million with the {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Hall made the call.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Hall stayed in front, actually adding a pair of fours. The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} which gave Palacios a gutshot straight draw for some more outs. The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} and Palacios was eliminated. He took home $450,000 for his finish while Hall moved back into second place in chips.

Anton Ionel opened to 380,000 with {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} from the button and Galen Hall three-bet to 930,000 with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} out of the small blind. Mike Sowers woke up with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} in the big blind and four-bet to 2 million. Both Ionel and Hall got out of the way and Sowers took down the pot.

Palacios Opens Queen-Deuce

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

From under the gun plus one, Bolivar Palacios raised to 320,000 with the {Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. That's certainly a weird raise seeing as he's the shortest stack at the table. He also raised a lot bigger than anyone else has been doing. From the small blind, Galen Hall reraised to 545,000 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Palacios gave a little act and then mucked his hand, dropping to about 1.6 million in chips.
