Duhamel Flops a Set

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jonathan Duhamel raised to 100,000 from the button with the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Isaac Haxton called from the small blind with the {K-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Leonid Bilokur called from the big blind with the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

All three players took the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop and Haxton checked. Bilokur bet 200,000 and Duhamel made the call. Haxton folded.

The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and Bilokur checked. Duhamel took his time and then fired 275,000. Bilokur gave it up and Duhamel won the pot.

Duhamel's Trip Kings

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

Isaac Haxton opened to 80,000 with {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, and Jonathan Duhamel defended his big blind with {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Duhamel trips, and he checked. Haxton continued for 140,000, and Duhamel check-raised to 380,000. Haxton called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, Duhamel led for 560,000, and Haxton called, drawing dead.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board, and Duhamel moved all in for 1,540,000. Haxton begrudgingly folded, and asked Duhamel to show the bluff. The 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion didn't show the bluff, rather he mucked then pulled in the pot.
