Jason Koon Eliminated in 4th Place ($271,950)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jason Koon - Eliminated
Jason Koon - Eliminated

Jonathan Duhamel opened to 80,000 on the button with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and Jason Koon three-bet to 220,000 with {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} from the small blind. The action folded back to Duhamel who put in a fourth bet to 375,000, and Koon moved all in for 1.3 million. Duhamel snapped it off.

The flop fell {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} - no help for Koon. The turn ({q-Spades}) and the river ({8-Diamonds}) were both bricks as well, and Koon was eliminated from the tournament.

Duhamel is now the chip leader three-handed.

Koon Doubles Through Duhamel

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

After Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel raised to 80,000 from the button with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, Jason Koon reraised all in from the small blind to 655,000 with the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Action got back to Duhamel and he asked for a count. He then made the call.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Duhamel stayed in front. The turn was the {J-Spades} and put Koon in front with a pair of jacks. The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} and Koon doubled up.

Duhamel Continues To Chip Up

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jonathan Duhamel opened to 60,000 under the gun with {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Jason Koon three-bet to 135,000 with {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} on the button. Duhamel called, landing an {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop.

Duhamel checked it to Koon who bet 93,000. After a few moments, Duhamel called to see the {10-Clubs} turn. He checked and Koon kept up the heat with a bet of 183,000. Duhamel re-raised all in, getting Koon to quickly lay it down.

To the Aggressor Go the Spoils

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Leonid Bilokur raised to 60,000 with {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}, and action came to Jason Koon in the small blind. His {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs} was good enough for a three-bet to 151,000, but Isaac Haxton had the best hand in the big blind. It was {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}, and the decision sent him deep into the tank for a couple minutes. He eventually thought better of it and folded, and Bilokur ducked out as well.
