Rousso Eliminated

Vanessa Rousso
Vanessa Rousso

Another Team PokerStars Pro has just hit the rail and this time it was Vanessa Rousso. She got the last of her money in on the {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop holding the {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for her, she was out-kicked by the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} of Shaun Deeb. The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and river the {10-Hearts} to eliminate Rousso from play.

Perkins Gets Involved with Mortensen

From middle position, Carlos Mortensen raised to 4,600. Bill Perkins called out of the cutoff seat and the flop came down {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Mortensen fired a continuation bet of 6,800, but he was met with resistance in the form of a raise from Perkins to 21,000. Mortensen thought for a little bit and then folded his hand, allowing Perkins to take down this pot.

From under the gun, the 2001 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Carlos Mortensen raised to 4,000. He found two callers in Bill Perkins and Josh Bergman. Perkins had called from middle position and Bergman in the cutoff seat.

The three players saw the flop come down {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Mortensen checked. Perkins bet 7,500 and Bergman folded his hand. Mortensen also folded and Perkins won the pot.

Joe Cada and Jonathan Duhamel
Joe Cada and Jonathan Duhamel

From the hijack seat, Team PokerStars Pro and 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada raised to 3,500 from the hijack seat. Fellow Team Pro and 2011 WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel three-bet from the cutoff seat to 8,300. Action folded back to Cada and he tanked for a bit prior to four-betting to 17,500. Duhamel gave it up and Cada won the pot.
