The numbers have been tallied and the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High Roller event attracted 141 players. With seven re-entries, there were a total of 148 entries in the field. Those that re-entered included Betrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Chris Moorman, Chance Kornuth, Eui Woong Kim, Joseph Elpayaa, Michael Mizrachi and Nick Yunis.
The total prize pool generated for the event is $3,626,000 and first place is worth a whopping $1,134,930. That's $62,080 more than last year. The top 16 players will be paid out and a min-cash will earn a player $58,020.

The first six levels are in the books and the players are now on a 60-minute dinner break.
From under the gun, Team PokerStars Pro and 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel raised to 1,300. Fellow Team Pro and 2011 WSOP gold bracelet winner Eugene Katchalov three-bet from under the gun plus one. From there, play folded back around the table to Duhamel and he made the call.
The flop came down and Duhamel checked to his opponent. Katchalov fired a bet of 2,500, but Duhamel wanted to play for more and check-raised to 7,700. Katchalov made the call.
Fourth street was the and Duhamel bet 13,700. After a minute, Katchalov called and off to the river they went.
The river card was the and Duhamel bet 28,400. Katchalov tanked and tanked, spending a couple minutes in deep thought. Eventually, he tossed out six blue T,5000 chips to make the call. When he did, Duhamel tabled the for a turned gutterball after flopping a nice combo draw. Katchalov sent his hand to the muck and Duhamel was pushed the pot.

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom was recently eliminated by Bill Perkins. We didn't catch the details, but we were told that Perkins made a "light" call on the river, and was right.

Mike Sowers, who made the final table of the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event, is off to a fast start today. Unfortunately, he just lost consecutive hands, but he's still over 100,000 chips.
In the first hand, Sowers was heads up with Jason Koon, and the board read . Sowers check-called a 11,100-chip bet, and the completed the board. Sowers checked again, and Koon fired 14,000. Sowers mucked.
The next hand, Sowers opened to 1,400 from middle position, and Mike Telker called on his direct left. The action behind folded, and the dealer fanned . Sowers check-called a 1,700-chip bet from Telker, and the turned. Sowers check-called another bet from Telker - this time the amount was 7,000 - and the completed the board.
Sowers checked a third time, and Telker immediately reached for a handful of blue T5,000 chips, added three yellow T1,000 chips, and tossed 28,000 forward. Sowers tanked for half of a minute before eventually calling, and Telker tabled for a flopped set of fives.

Vanessa Selbst raised to 1,500 from middle position and Benny Spindler called on the button to see the flop. Selbst checked and Spindler bet 1,600. Selbst called.

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso fired 3,800 on the board and Shaun Deeb called. JP Kelly was the third player in the hand and folded.
The river card brought the and Rousso checked. Deeb bet 5,700 and Rousso tanked long and hard. Eventually, she let out a big sighing cry and folded her hand. Deeb showed her the and scooped in the pot.
