A Casualty by Cajelais

Eric Baldwin opened to 700, and received three callers, including Erik Cajelais and Matthias De Meulder. The dealer fanned {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, and the action checked to De Meulder who tossed out two yellow T1,000 chips. Baldwin mucked, a player in middle position called, and so too did Cajelias.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}, and the player in middle position promptly shoved for around 9,000. Cajelais tank-called, and De Meulder mucked.

Showdown
Cajelais: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Cajelais needed to fade a queen or a jack, and did so when the {4-Spades} fell on the river. With the knockout, the Canadian pro is now back above the starting stack.
