Another Day in Paradise

We didn't walk up until the flop was out, but we can pretty much guess the preflop action. The heads-up pot was between the under-the-gun player and big blind Phil Collins, and we're almost certain that Collins was either a squeeze-raiser or a three-bettor before the flop because there was about 8,000 in the pot as the two men went forward.

The dealer spread out {8-Spades} {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds}, and Collins continued out with 3,500. His opponent called that bet, then another 6,500 after the {7-Hearts} turn. The river was a potential scare card, the {A-Spades}, but Collins kept the heat on with another 9,500. The call came a little bit quicker this time, and Collins tabled his {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} with a fair amount of confidence.

No good. The other gent tabled {6-Hearts} {8-Hearts}, and Collins has been reduced back down to about 46,000 chips now.

Mizrachi Can't Be Pushed Off

A player opened to 1,500 and Michael Mizrachi called. The flop came down {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and the preflop raiser fired 2,700. Mizrachi made the call and the turn brought the {8-Spades}. The first player checked and Mizrachi bet 2,000. His opponent check-raised to 6,500 and Mizrachi called. The river was the {K-Hearts} and both players checked.

The first player showed the {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}, but Mizrachi had the best of it with the {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Mizrachi's up to 75,000 now.

Top Two for Luske

Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske bet 2,000 on the {Ac]{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop and his opponent called. The river was the {2-Diamonds} to pair the board and Luske bet again for another 2,000. His opponent folded the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} face up and Luske showed him the {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top two pair. He's up to 75,000 now.

Selbst Soaring

Vanessa Selbst doing what she does best.
Vanessa Selbst doing what she does best.

Facing a raise to 1,200, Vanessa Selbst did what she does best; three-bet. The PokerStars Team Pro tossed out 2,700, a player in the big blind called, and so too did the original raiser. The flop fell {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, and the player in the big blind led for 2,200. The original raiser folded, and Selbst did we she does best; raise.

She flipped 7,400 forward, and after a few seconds, her opponent folded.

Banana Finds a Fold

Harry "UgotaBanana" Kaczka was faced with a 5,375-chip bet with the board reading {10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Kaczka tank-called.

The river was the {7-Spades}, and Kaczka's opponent led again - this time for 7,575. Kaczka was in the tank, and his opponent randomly stood up and began walking around. Kaczka observed this strange action for a little longer, then folded his hand.
