Crow and Shatilov Chop Massive, 2.8 Million-Chip Pot

It all started when Andrey Shatilov opened to 40,000 from under the gun. The action folded to Owen Crowe, who three-bet to 106,000 on the button, and Shatilov responded with a four-bet to 240,000. Crowe clicked it back, five-betting to 386,000, and Shatilov moved all in for 1.4 million. Crowe snapped it off.

Crowe: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Shatilov: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

With 2.8 million chips in the middle, the dealer rapped the tabled and fanned {2-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}.

"Chop," Crowe joked.

"How would you feel about the king of spades?" Charania asked Crowe.

The turn was not a king, but it was a spade: the {7-Spades}.

The dealer rapped the table a third and final table, then spiked a fifth spade onto the felt. Ironically, it was indeed the {k-Spades}.

Shatilov grinned and extended his hand to Crowe, and despite being one card away from a monstrous four-million chip stack, Crowe graciously took it.
