Time For A Break

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Level 22 is in the books, which means it's time for another 15-minute break. From what we've been told, the players will then return to play Level 23, go on a dinner break, and then get through Level 24 before calling it a night. That could change, but right now that's the plan.

Sabat Slipping

Joao Nogueira
Joao Nogueira

Eddy Sabat opened to 46,000 from under the gun, Joao Nogueira called on the button, and the flop fell {q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Sabat led out for what looked like 58,000, and Nogueira called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, Sabat led again - this time for 137,000 - and Nogueira again called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board, and both players checked. Nogueira turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for queens and kings, and Sabat mucked his hand.

Update From Feature Table

Although our access to the feature table is limited, we can report that Pedro Cuervo Quinche, the shortest stack coming back from the break, has busted.

Soon after, a short-stacked Maxim Panyak moved all in before the flop from the cutoff. Panyak held {A-}{9-} and was Robert Mizrachi called from the button who held pocket nines. Mizrachi's nines held and Panyak was eliminated from play.

No Hesitation from Nogueira

Manig Loeser opened to 40,000 from middle position, Joao Nogueira three-bet to 87,000 on the button, and Loeser called.

The dealer fanned {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts}, and Loeser checked. Quickly, Nogueira assembled 150,000 chips, and pushed them forward. Loeser eyed the bet, examined the board, and then pushed forward a tall stack of 30 blue T5,000 chips, making the call.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, Loeser quickly checked, and Nogueira immediately began assembling a bet. With two hands, he shoved 300,000 across the betting line. Loeser tank-called once again.

The river was a repeat king - the {k-Diamonds} - and Loeser checked a third and final time.

"All in," Noguiera said instantly, wagering his remaining 350,000 chips or so.

There was a beat, and then Loeser flicked his cards into the muck. Noguiera proudly tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for a full house.

Serock Straightened Out

Dimitar Danchev opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and Joe Serock called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Serock check-called a bet of 45,000. The {10-Diamonds} fell on fourth and Serock checked again. Danchev slid out a cool 100,000 and Serock stuck around once more. Fifth street was the {6-Hearts} and Serock checked for a third time. Danchev moved 227,000 into the center and Serock tanked before calling.

Danchev showed {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a king-high straight. Serock hung his head, mucked, and the pot was pushed to Danchev.
