Negreanu Getting Frisky On the Bubble

Action folded to one of the short stacks on the bubble, Team PokerStars Pro and Global Poker Index Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu. He was in the small blind and raised to 20,000. Another short stack, Byron Kaverman, was in the big blind and took some time before reraising all in for 83,000. Negreanu couldn't call, claiming that he had been "bluffing with nine-six off suit." He folded, and Kaverman won the pot.

On the next hand, Team PokerStars Pro and poker's all-time winningest female Vanessa Selbst raised to 20,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Negreanu on the button, and he reraised all in for 100,000 even. No one, including Selbst, could make the call, and Negreanu picked up the pot.
