Kuzmich Takes Out Anderson

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Calvin Anderson just walked out of the tournament room and as he was previously sitting next to former WSOP champion we asked Greg Merson what went down.

According to Merson Paul Kuzmich raised to 2,600 and Anderson called from the button. The flop brought {K-}{J-}{4-} and Karakousis checked to Anderson who bet and his opponent called.

On the turn the {10-Clubs} hit and that put a backdoor flush possibility out there. Kuzmich check-called another bet and on the river the {A-Clubs} popped up.

Kuzmich lead out for 14,200, Anderson raised to 50,000 and Kuzmich moved all in. Anderson made the call holding {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that was no good against Kuzmich's {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

Fours for Colman

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With the final board reading {5-}{4-}{2-}{2-}{6-}, Daniel Colman fired a bet of 32,000 into his opponent, Bryn Kenney. After some thought, Kenney called, but couldn't beat Colman's {4-}{4-} that produced a full house. Kenney mucked, and Colman collected the pot to move to 315,000 in chips. Kenney was left with 23,000.

Lehr Doubles Up

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The flop showed {2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Daniel Colman bet 4,200 from the small blind and Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst made the call.

Keith Lehr moved all in from the cutoff and Colman went into the tank for a long time. Eventually Colman called and Selbst let go of her hand.

Lehr showed {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for flopped set and Colman tabled {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. The turn and river brought the {6-Hearts} and {K-Clubs} and Lehr doubled up.

Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien

From middle position, Daniel Colman raised to 2,000. Bryn Kenney made the call from the hijack seat, and Dan O'Brien called out of the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and O'Brien checked. Colman also checked, then Kenney bet 3,100. O'Brien raised all in for 13,000, and Colman folded. Kenney quickly called and tabled the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a flopped set. O'Brien was up and down with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The {A-Clubs} turn card gave O'Brien the straight he was looking for, and the {9-Hearts} on the river didn't give Kenney a full house. O'Brien successfully doubled up and moved back over 30,000.
