Esfandiari Over Shak

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Antonio Esfandiari raised to 7,100 from the cutoff and Dan Shak popped it up to 17,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Esfandiari called the three-bet.

The two saw a flop with royal possibilities of {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Esfandiari checked and Shak checked it back. The {2-Spades} hit fourth street and Esfandiari bet 14,100. Shak called and the river brought a fourth club with the {5-Clubs}.

Esfandiari dropped out a bet of 28,100 and Shak wasted little time calling. Esfandiari showed {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} for an ace-high flush which caused Shak to flash his {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} to the table before mucking. Esfandiari raked in the pot and now has about 220,000 in chips.
