Shyam Srinivasan Eliminated in 10th Place ($91,240)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Shyam Srinivasan - 10th Place
Shyam Srinivasan - 10th Place

Shyam Srinivasan shoved all in from the button for his last 750,000, and Kevin Schulz put him at risk from the big blind.

Schulz: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Srinivasan: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop was clean enough for Srinivasan, but the {5-Spades} turn brought a double-gutshot for Schulz. The sweat was on, and Schulz binked the {4-Spades} on the river to make his straight. Srinivasan leaned back and tilted his head toward the ceiling in disappointment, as he'd fallen just short of back-to-back final tables at the PCA.

Chasing Chopportunities

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

The EPT Live crew have had the chance more than once today to use a favorite term — "chopportunity" — referring to community cards providing the possibility for a split pot. Meanwhile, for the handful of players remaining in the PCA Main Event more than half the $7.9 million-plus prize pool remains up for grabs to be chopped up between them. That's quite a chopportunity in itself, as detailed on the PokerStars Blog.

Ritter Doubles Through Boukai

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Uwe Ritter raised on the button and was called by Rami Boukai, the big blind. Boukai checked the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop and saw Ritter bet pretty big, 200,000. Boukai shipped all in to put Ritter at risk for 600,000 total, and Ritter called.

Ritter: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Boukai: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Both had straight draws, but Boukai's pair was inferior. The {2-Diamonds} turn did nothing, and the {k-Spades} gave both players kings up, with Ritter holding the better two.

Big Pot For Ventura

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Diego Ventura opened to 120,000 in middle position, Uwe Ritter called form the next seat over and Pratyush Buddiga called on the button.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and action checked to Ritter who bet 320,000. Both Buddiga and Ventura called to see the {6-Clubs} turn. Ventura checked to Ritter again who bet 565,000. Buddiga called, as did Ventura, landing the {2-Spades} river.

Ventura bet 725,000, prompting a fold from Ritter after about two minutes and a quick fold from Buddiga.
