Buddiga Sliding

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Pratyush Buddiga opened to 22,000 from the cutoff and Christoph Vogelsang called from the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both checked to see the {2-Diamonds} turn where Vogelsang bet 40,000. Buddiga called, the {4-Hearts} river completed the board and Vogelsang bet 80,000.

Buddiga called, but mucked when Vogelsang tables {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a pair of kings.

Lehr Doubles Through Shakerchi

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Keith Lehr was under the gun and he opened with an all in raise to 141,000. Action folded over to Talal Shakerchi who flatted from middle position. The rest of the table folded and the hands were exposed.

Lehr: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Shakerchi: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The dealer fanned a {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop which kept Shakerchi's sevens out in front. That all changed in a flash, however, after the {J-Clubs} rolled off on the turn. Suddenly it was Shakerchi who needed to improve in order to win the hand. He was unable to do so with the {10-Clubs} on the river and Lehr secured himself a double up. He now has about 295,000 while Shakerchi has dropped to 740,000.

Busquet Busted by Kenney

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Olivier Busquet - Eliminated
Olivier Busquet - Eliminated

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 24,000 from early position only to have Olivier Busquet three-bet all in from the next seat over for 252,000. Action folded over to Bryn Kenney who thought for a brief moment before moving all in over the top. The remaining players quickly folded back to Vogelsang who opted to kick his cards into the middle as well.

Kenney: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Busquet: {A-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, keeping Kenney's ladies in the lead. Busquet picked up outs to make a wheel with the {3-Clubs} on fourth street, but ultimately was eliminated from play after the {Q-Hearts} completed the board. With this pick up, Kenney's stack has escalated to about 1.28 million.

Mizzi Doubles Through Schwartz

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Sorel Mizzi
Sorel Mizzi

Sorel Mizzi was all in and at risk before the flop against Noah Schwartz. The two tabled their hands to reveal that they were flipping for Mizzi's tournament life.

Mizzi: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Schwartz: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}, pairing Schwartz's queen and giving him the lead in the hand. The {4-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn, meaning that Mizzi needed to catch one of the two remaining nines in order to stay alive. The deck was on Mizzi's side, though, as the {9-Clubs} drilled the river to give him a winning set of nines. Mizzi took down the pot and now has about 295,000 to his name. Schwartz, on the other hand, has dropped to 125,000.
