Lehne Continues Her Rise

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On the {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Kathy Lehne, who was acting out of the big blind position, fired a bet of 25,000 into Bill Perkins. Perkins called, and the turn was the {7-Clubs}. Lehne bet 40,000 this time, and Perkins gave it up.

"There you go with your lucky big blind garbage," Perkins said with a smiling sigh. "You either had two pair or a straight, either way."

Joe McKeehen (Day 1)
Joe McKeehen (Day 1)

World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe McKeehen just busted Justin Bonomo to move over 1.2 million in chips. It was his {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} that took out Bonomo's {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} after the money went in preflop. The board ran out {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and Bonomo was out.

Stern Sees Through Greenwood's Bluff

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The flop showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} when Dani Stern check-called a 15,000-chip bet from Sam Greenwood, and the turn brought the {J-Diamonds}.

Stern checked again on the turn and Greenwood bet 44,000, which got called again.

The river brought the {3-Clubs} and Stern checked a third time. Greenwood threw out a bet of 101,000 chips, and Stern tanked briefly with just a few big blinds more behind if he was to call this bet.

After making the call Stern showed {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and he won the pot against Greenwood's {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The Magician Can't Make Seidel Disappear

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked Erik Seidel got his last 79,000 all in preflop and was at risk against Antonio Esfandiari.

Esfandiari: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Seidel: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Seidel was behind and in need of some help. The {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop didn't hit him directly, but it did give him a flush draw. The {8-Clubs} turn wasn't what he was looking for, but the {4-Diamonds} river was. Seidel made the flush and doubled through Esfandiari.
