Tom Hall Eliminated in 23rd Place ($58,320)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Tom Hall - 23rd Place
Tom Hall - 23rd Place

After Tom Hall checked the {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board, Sean Winter set him all in. Hall tanked for a few minutes. Eventually, he had the clock called on him by someone at the table. After a little bit longer, Hall called with the {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, but his hand was no good against the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for Winter, who had turned a straight.

With that, Hall was eliminated in 23rd place for $58,320, and Winter increased to 1.26 million in chips.

Astapau Spikes a Double Through Jaffee

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jared Jaffee raised to 27,000, and Anton Astapau reraised all in for 284,000. Jaffee called with the {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, and Astapau had the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. Despite the two holding the same hand, Astapau's got much, much better after the {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flopped to give him the nut flush. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river was the {10-Hearts} to complete the board, and Astapau doubled up.

Kornuth Shows a Six To Yoon

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

On the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Chance Kornuth checked to Brian Yoon. Yoon bet 30,000, and Kornuth check-raised to 82,000. Yoon called.

Faraz Jaka Eliminated in 21st Place ($58,320)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Faraz Jaka - 21st Place
Faraz Jaka - 21st Place

Faraz Jaka pushed from an early position for about 205,000 and was called by the player on his left, Nick Maimone. Everyone else quickly mucked.

Jaka: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Maimone: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Small cards littered the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} board but it danced around Jaka, who was done in 21st.

Gorodetsky Doubles Through Maimone

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Robert Gorodetsky was all in from the big blind when we arrived at his table with the board reading {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

"One-seventy-one?" Nick Maimone asked from middle position. The dealer confirmed the amount and Maimone called.

Gorodetsky revealed {7-Clubs}{5-Spades} for sevens full, and Maimone mucked. The dealer was instructed to turn up the hand, and it was {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Jared Jaffee Eliminated in 19th Place ($63,720)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jared Jaffee
Jared Jaffee

Jared Jaffee hit a rough patch in the tournament and lost a lot of his stack quickly. On this hand, he got all in for his tournament life against two players.

Andrey Zaichenko and Adrian Mateos were also all in. Mateos had the biggest stack.

Mateos had {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, Zaichenko had {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, and Jaffee had {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

Jaffee had a shot when the flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, but the rest of the board finished, {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and that was it for Jaffee. Mateos was left with scraps and would be almost all in in the small blind next hand.
