Menard Has Tons of Heart

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After Salman Behbehani raised from the cutoff, Jeremy Menard three-bet jammed for 29,200 from the button. Action folded back to Behbehani, who called, and Menard discovered the bad news.

Menard: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Behbehani: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Menard had major kicker issues, but he got some help when the {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop delivered him a flush draw. The {7-Clubs} turn didn't complete it, but the {2-Hearts} river did. An excited Menard sat back down and stacked the chips.

What a Flop for Cal

Calvin Anderson

Greece's Panagiotis Pantazis opened for 3,500 from the cutoff and action folded to Calvin Anderson in the big blind. He opted to three-bet to 8,300, and Pantazis thought for a bit before four-betting all in for what looked to be 60,000. Anderson snap-called.

Pantazis: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Anderson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

It was a flip, but not when the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop smacked Anderson right in the face by giving him Broadway! The {K-Hearts} turn left Pantazis looking for an ace on the river just to chop, but it wasn't in the cards as the {K-Diamonds} paired the board.

Siarhei Melianiuk

With around 90,000 in the pot and a board reading {8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Siarhei Melianiuk bet 33,000 from the big blind and Andrew Ryan, who was in the cutoff, hit the tank before making the call.

Melianiuk tabled the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for top pair.

"Nice hand," Ryan offered before sending his cards to the muck.

Turn Around

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy stood up from his chair and began to collect his things, before hitting the rail. He had gotten all in preflop with pocket kings against aces.

The flop was {2-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}, which prompted Troyanovskiy to leave his seat and head out, but the {k-Clubs} came on the turn and made him turn around and sit back down. The river was the {j-Hearts} and that sealed the double up for Troyanovskiy.

O'Dwyer Loses One To Robinson

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From middle position, Steve O'Dwyer raised to 3,600. David Robinson called out of the big blind, and the dealer spread the {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop. Robinson checked, O'Dwyer bet 4,800, and Robinson called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {8-Hearts} land on the river. Again, both checked.

Robinson showed the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for top pair, and O'Dwyer mucked.

Chartier Flight

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Sam Chartier just won a big pot with his river bet against John Racener.

Racener started off the action with a preflop raise to 3,200 under the gun. Chartier reraised to 9,000 and Racener called.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Racener checked, letting Chartier lead the way. Chartier bet 6,500 and Racener called again.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Racener checked for a third time. Chartier bet 24,000, which was too much for Racener who quickly folded.
