Taylor Paur raised to 40,000 from the hijack seat, and Timothy Ulmer reraised to 118,000 on the button. Play folded back to Paur, and he thought long and hard while staring at Ulmer. Paul eventually folded, and Ulmer won the pot.
From the hijack seat, Leonardo Pires raised to 61,000. David Eldridge reraised on the button to 131,000, and then Ken Demlakian called from the big blind. Pires wasted little time in making it 500,000 to go, and Eldridge folded. Demlakian also folded, showing the , and Pires won the pot.
Leonardo Pires raised to 60,000 from middle position, Randy Kritzer called from the hijack seat, David Eldridge called from the cutoff seat, and Ken Demlakian called out of the small blind.
The flop was , and Pires tried to check, again forgetting that it was Demlakian to act before him. Demlakian then bet 130,00, and Pires folded. Kritzer announced that he was all in for approximately 1.225 million, and Eldridge folded behind him. Demlakian also gave it up, and Kritzer won the pot.
Randy Kritzer just shot to one of the biggest stacks in the field, overtaking Phillip McAllister and winning a huge chunk off Ken Demlakian.
The three players were looking at a board of and Kritzer bet 125,000. Demlakian called before McAllister raised to 445,000. It didn't take long for Kritzer and Demlakian to both call.
Kritzer showed for a flush and won the pot, much to Demlakian's dismay.
On the last hand of the night at the feature table, Toby Lewis raised to 45,000 from the under-the-gun position. Martin McCormick reraised to 100,000 from the cutoff seat, and then Matt Waxman called from the small blind. Lewis reraised all in for 629,000, and McCormick tank-folded. Waxman quickly called with the , but he saw the bad news when Lewis tabled the .
The board secured Lewis the double up, and Waxman was left with 1.228 million in chips.
On a board of in what appeared to be a four-way limped pot, big blind Leonardo Pires bet 125,000. Only Ken Demlakian called, from the cutoff. On the river, Pires jammed to put Demlakian at risk for about 950,000. Demlakian shrugged, looked at his cards, and mucked face-up.
Leonardo Pires opened for 67,000 in middle position and got calls from Randy Kritzer in the cutoff and big blind Ken Demlakian. Action checked to the Kritzer, who bet 80,000 on the flop. Both players called, seeing a fall. Check-check to Kritzer, who bet 200,000 this time. Demlakian called once more, and a completed the board. Instead of a third check, Demlakian announced he was all in. Kritzer started in his seat and then mucked, showing the .
Demlakian turned over only the before raking in the pot.
