Demlakian Shoves, Shows Aces

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Vasken Demlakian and Allan Barnes played a hand that ended when Demlakian shoved all in for 295,000 on the flop.

In preflop action Demlakian four-bet Barnes to 78,000 and Barnes called.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Demlakian almost immediately shoved for his remaining stack. Barnes folded pretty quickly and Demlakian tossed two aces face up on the table.

He said he didn't want to wait for Barnes's hand to possibly improve and seemed happy to take down the pot with his flop bet.

Isenthal Eliminated

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After Matt Waxman raised on the button to 17,000, Frank Isenthal moved all in for his last 37,000 from the small blind. Michael Rocco called from the big blind, Waxman also called, and the flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Rocco checked, and Waxman bet 80,000. After a little bit of a tank, Rocco folded, and that left Isenthal fighting for his tournament life with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} against the {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for Waxman.

The turn was the {A-Clubs}, and the river was the {2-Hearts}. Both missed Isenthal, and he was eliminated.

Kritzer Sends Cairns to the Rail

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Randy Kritzer shoved all in, putting David Cairns to the test and at risk, should he call. Eventually, Cairns called.

Cairns had a good hand, {a-}{k-}, but it was not good enough to beat the {a-}{a-} of Kritzer. The board was no help for Cairns as it came {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}, ending his day.

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Paul Tedeschi just took down a pot with a 100,000 bet on the flop and is approaching 1 million chips.

Tedeschi opened the action with a 16,000 preflop raise. Matt Waxman called and the action fell to Andy Spears.

Spears reraised to 60,000 from the button and Tedeschi called before Waxman folded.

The flop came {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Tedeschi slid out a stack of 5,000 chips, betting 100,000. Spears thought for a moment or two and then folded.

Sevens for Koon

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Tony Gregg raised to 18,000 from the cutoff seat, and Jason Koon called out of the big blind to see the flop come out {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Koon checked, Gregg bet 21,000, and Koon made the call.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, and it paired the board. Koon led with a bet of 20,000, and Gregg made the call to see the {4-Hearts} land on the river. Koon and Gregg both checked.

Koon showed the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Gregg mucked his hand.
