Sylvain Loosli Bubbles the €10,000 Single-Day High Roller

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Sylvain Loosli
Sylvain Loosli

Down to just 320,000 in chips, Sylvain Loosli shoved all in first to act. It folded around quickly to Mustapha Kanit in the big blind and he called.

Sylvain Loosli: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Mustapha Kanit: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}

The flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and {K-Diamonds} turn made for some chop outs, but the {8-Clubs} on the river paired Kanit and Loosli hit the rail in 9th place.

Down to 8 players now, all guaranteed $21,340 at this point.

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

From the small blind, Ramin Hajiyev moved all in with a covering stack over Igor Kurganov. Kurganov called after looking at his cards.

"Ugh," Hajiyev sighed. "Do you have a good one?"

"Better than that," Kurganov said after looking at the cards.

Kurganov: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Hajiyev: {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} which was good for Kurganov, but the {J-Diamonds} on the turn did give Hajiyev some extra outs. The river was the {9-Hearts} which was one of those outs making him two pair with a queen kicker, so Kurganov hit the rail in 10th place, brining the final nine players down to a final table.

Sylvain Loosli Doubles Through Igor Kurganov

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded around where Igor Kurganov shoved all in from the small blind with a covering stack over Sylvain Loosli. Loosli thought for a bit then called.

Kurganov: {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Loosli: {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board came down {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} which gave Loosli two-pair and allowed him to double up for his 190,000-chip stack. Kurganov was left with right under 200,00 0after the hand.

"Did you know you had 190?" Kurgonov joked after the hand. Loosli responded that he didn't. "Just let me know and I'll tell you next time."

"Bro you have 190?" Mustapha Kanit joked. "And you wanna call with jack-five? No."

The table laughed while Loosli raked in his pot.

Imsirovic Hits the River to Bust O'Dwyer

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Steve O'Dywer
Steve O'Dywer

Steve O'Dwyer moved all in from middle position for roughly 100,000. Action folded around to the big blind where Almedin Imsorovic called from the big blind.

O'Dwyer: {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Imsorovic: {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The flop was safe for O'Dywer when it came king-high, but the turn gave Imsorovic a flush draw.

"Too many outs," Cary Katz said, who was also at the table.

The river was a {6-Diamonds} and that gave Imsorovic the lead and earned him the pot.

"Cary!" O'Dwyer said laughing. "Shhhhhh. As soon as you opened your mouth I knew it."

Imsorovic moved over 600,000 while O'Dwyer hit the rail.
