Adams Earns a Double Up

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Timothy Adams pushed all in for 705,000 on the button and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau called from the big blind. Adams turned over {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and was in good shape to double up against Vaskaboinikau's {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, giving Vaskaboinikau some chop outs, and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn hurt his chances. The river brought the {2-Diamonds} and Adams scored a full double up to bring himself right back in the game.

Koon Sees Through Vaskaboinikau

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jason Koon opened and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau made the call. The flop fanned out {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} and both players checked. The {4-Hearts} hit the turn and Vaskaboinikau bet 150,000 which Koon called.

Vaskaboinikau made a big bet of 350,000 on the river when the {7-Diamonds} touched down and as Koon's clock ran out he made the call.

"Ahhh! First time I bluff," cried out Vaskaboinikau as he tabled the {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Nick Petrangelo called from the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Petrangelo checked. Vaskaboinikau bet 150,000 and Petrangelo check-raised to 400,000. Vaskaboinikau jammed and Petrangelo called to put himself at risk.

Vaskaboinikau: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Petrangelo: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Both players had flopped flush draws but Vaskaboinikau held the nut-flush draw while Petrangelo had additional outs in the form of a gutshot. The {5-Spades} on the turn was no help to either player. The {5-Hearts} river completed the flush, securing the pot for Vaskaboinikau and ending Petrangelo's tournament.
