Richard Seymour Takes on "Big Huni"

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen raised to 2,300 from the hijack and former NFL star Richard Seymour defended his big blind.

Both players proceeded to check the {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop as well as the {3-Spades} turn.

When the {2-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Seymour bet a modest 3,100 and that was all it took to get Hunichen to lay down his hand.

Daniel Walbe Falls to Badih Bounahra

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Action folded to Daniel Walbe on the button and he moved all in for right around 12,000. Badih Bounahra called from the big blind and Walbe discovered the bad news.

Walbe: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Bounahra: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Walbe had a kicker problem and it didn't get resolved as the board ran out {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Nadal Soaring up the Counts

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Santiago Nadal has seen quite a rise in his stack early on here on Day 2. The native of Mexico came into play today sitting on 67,000 and has since brought it up to around 157,000.

In a recent pot against Gavin O'Rourke, the board read {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} with about 60,000 already piled up in the middle. Nadal fired a bet of 41,700 and after a moment, O'Rourke slid his cards towards the muck.
