Igor Yaroshevskyy Eliminated By Patryk Poterek

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Action folded to a short-stacked Igor Yaroshevskyy in the small blind and he moved all in for his last 33,000. Poland's Patryk Poterek was in the big blind and made a quick call.

Yaroshevskyy: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Poterek: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

It was a flip, but Yaroshevskyy, who currently sits fourth on Ukraine's all-time money list, needed to improve to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the board ran out a dry {8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Bartosz Stasiewicz Doubles Through Charles Furey

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

We picked up the action on the river with a board reading {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}s. Charles Furey bet 25,500 from the hijack and Poland's Bartosz Stasiewicz responded by raising all in for 86,500 more.

Furey gave it some thought before calling with the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, but he was crushed as Stasiewicz held quads with the {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Buchanan Faces off Against O'Rourke

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Buchanan opened from early position with a raise to 6,000. Gavin O'Rourke called from the blinds.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and O'Rourke checked his option. Buchanan put out a bet of 7,000. O'Rourke called.

On the {3-Spades} turn, O'Rourke checked again. Buchanan put out a bet of 14,000 this time. O'Rourke thought for a bit, then called.

The river was the {10-Spades} and O'Rourke checked his option a third time. Buchanan fired 32,000 this time. O'Rourke looked as if he might call, but eventually let his hand go and Buchanan took down another pot.

Gianluca Speranza Continues to Slip

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Gianluca Speranza raised to 6,500 from middle position and Adalfer Morales Gamarra called from the big blind to see a {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Gamarra checked, Speranza bet 8,500, and Gamarra woke up with a check-raise to 30,000.

"You have a flush draw?" Speranza asked before making the call.

The dealer then burned and turned the {5-Hearts}. Gamarra snap moved all in for 97,000.

"We are gambling," said Speranza, who had 75,000 back. He thought for nearly two minutes before opting to fold. That inspired Gamarro to show just the {9-Hearts}.

Michael Stashin Assumes the Tournament Chip Lead in a Monster Pot

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

From the hijack seat, Michael Stashin opened with a raise to 7,000. Action folded around to the button where Oliver Weis reraised, making it 22,000. Next to act was Gleidibe Goncalves and he cold four-bet to 62,000 from the small blind. Back on Stashin and he called, leading to a call from Weis as well.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Goncalves led outs for 43,000. Stashin took a bit before calling while Weis quickly folded.

Both players checked on the {6-Diamonds} turn to see the {5-Clubs} river. There, Goncalves checked again and with a sigh, Stashin checked too. Stashin turned up his {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and it was good as Goncalves mucked his hand.

"Jesus christ," Stashin said after the hand. "I almost folded the flop. I was very confused that hand."

With that hand, Stashin moves into the tournament chip lead at this point with the first stack to cross half a million chips.

Big Call from Alexander Gambino

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

With around 75,000 already in the pot and a board reading {6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, Alexander Gambino was in the cutoff debating what to do as Karl Stark had bet 60,000 from the button.

Eventually, Gambino called and then action went check-check on the {2-Hearts} river.

Gambino showed the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for nut no pair, and that prompted Stark to simply say, "That's good."

David Peters Eliminates Chris Hunichen to Eclipse 500,000

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
David Peters from Day 2 of the Main Event
David Peters from Day 2 of the Main Event

Catching up to the action with right around 30,000 chips in the pot and the board showing {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} through the turn Chris Hunichen and David Peters are facing off. Hunichen is first to act from the blinds and he checks over to Peters. Peters then puts out a bet of 20,000. Hunichen then moves all in for 101,000 total. Peters takes his time before calling.

Peters: {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Hunichen: {J-Spades}{5-Spades}

Hunichen had flopped a pair and turned a flush draw, but Peters had him beat with top pair. The river was the {6-Clubs} though and that was a brick for Hunichen. He is sent to the rail just before the money while Peters takes down the pot to move past 500,000 chips.
