Peters Loses Some With Tens

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Pedro Bregeiro leal was the one first to act and he raised it up. Just David Peters in middle position called.

Bregeiro leal bet 12,000 on the flop of {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} and 15,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Peters called both times.

The {8-Hearts} completed the board and Bregeiro leal checked. Peters took his time and eventually decided to bet 25,000. Bregeiro leal called intantly by flinging in a single chip. Peters showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} but that proved no good as Bregeiro leal tabled {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

Bjorn Fiedler Eliminated Bringing the Players to the Stone Bubble

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Andriy Lyubovetskiy opened with a raise to 9,000 before Bjorn Fielder moved all in over the top for 29,500. Action folded back to Lyubovetskiy who called. Action was halted briefly while camera crews and reporters approached to get the action.

Lyubovetskiy: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Fielder: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The flop provided a little help to Fielder when it came down {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, allowing him to pick up extra outs to a straight. The turn was the {K-Clubs}, which was paint but kept things the same. The river was the {5-Hearts} and that was it for Fielder. He was eliminated in 89th place, brining the field down to 88 players and putting everyone remaining on the stone bubble.

Phillip Corion Pushes Off Ramin Hajiyev

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Phillip Corion raised to 9,500 from the button and Ramin Hajiyev three-bet to 31,000 from the small blind. Corion called to see the {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, and then he called a bet of 16,000 on the {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop.

Hajiyev bet again on the {7-Clubs} turn, this time 22,000, but he couldn't shake Corion, who called to see the {J-Clubs} river.

Hajiyev slowed down with a checked and then tanked for a solid two minutes before folding to a bet of 52,500 from Corion.

Checking It Down

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Koray Aldemir raised to 10,000 from the cutoff and Richard Kirsch called from the small blind.

The two then proceeded to check it down as the board ran out {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

"Queen high," Kirsch said and showed the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

"No good," Aldemir responded and showed his winning {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a pair of threes.

It wasn't the most exciting hand, but it was indicative of the sort of action we're seeing here as the money bubble approaches.

One for Sergio Cabrera

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Oleg Titov raised to 10,000 from middle position and Sergio Cabrera called out of the big blind. Both players checked the {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and the dealer burned and turned the {6-Clubs}.

Cabrera checked, Titov bet 22,000, and Cabrera called to see the {4-Diamonds} river.

Both players returned to checking and Cabrera showed the {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens. It was good as Titov sent his cards to the muck.

Michael Stashin on Fire; Eliminates Joao Simao

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Joao Simao
Joao Simao

Cameras gathered around as Joao Simao was all in and at risk for roughly 100,000 against Michael Stashin before the flop. Simao had the shorter stack and Stashin had him well covered.

Simao: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Stashin: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop was {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and that put Simao in a deep hole, giving Stashin the lead, but giving Simao a few outs to a straight. The turn was the {7-Hearts} though which was no help, and the {7-Spades} on the river was also a blank. Stashin collected the pot and moved extremely close to the one-million chip mark as Simao was sent to the rail brining the players ever closer to the bubble with only 90 players remaining.

Stark: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and that was it for Furey. Stark made a straight with his queens and Furey was sent to the rail brining the field down to 91 players, just four places away from the money.
