Maurer Knocks out Brito at the Main Feature Table

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Gleidibe Brito from Day 3
Gleidibe Brito from Day 3

Florian Maurer opened from early position to 22,000 and was called by both Gledibe Brito in the small blind and Liv Boeree in the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and action checked around to Maurer. He continued with a bet of 33,000. Brito was the only called while Boeree folded.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Brito moved all in quickly for 195,000 total. Maurer thought it over a bit before calling.

Brito: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Maurer: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The river was the {Q-Spades} and that kept Maurer in the lead and improved his hand to a full house, while Brito was left with just two pair, and it was no good. Brito hits the rail and collects $28,800 for his run in the Main Event.

Uladzimir Anoshka: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Maria Lampropulos: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Anoshka doubled.

Premature Celebration for Stashin

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Stashin
Michael Stashin

Aleksandr Milyaev opened for 25,000 from middle position and picked up callers in Daniel Coupal and Christian Banz, who were in the hijack and on the button respectively.

Michael Stashin then three-bet all in for roughly 300,000 from the small blind and Milyaev isolated by moving all in over the top. The other two players folded.

Stashin: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Milyaev: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Stashin stood up, informed his rail of the bad spot, and then turned his attention back to the table. The dealer burned and began to put out the flop, which showed a queen in the window. Stashin shot his arms up in the air, but his enthusiasm quickly disappeared by what followed it.

Flop: {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Milyaev maintained the lead by pairing his king. He picked up a flush draw to boot.

The {10-Hearts} turn left Stashin asking the dealer for a jack to chop, but that didn't happen as the unhelpful {8-Spades} bricked on the river.

Cooler Situation Leads to a Double-Up for Coupal

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Aleksandr Milyaev opened with a raise to 27,000 before Daniel Coupal reraised, making it 75,000 in position. Action folded back to Milyaev who moved all in with a covering stack and Coupal quickly called off the rest of his 312,000.

Coupal: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Milyaev: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and that kept Coupal's kings in the lead the whole way, allowing him to double up through Milyaev to right around 650,000 chips.

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Oleg Titov opened under the gun to 26,000 and Helio Chreem in the cutoff was the only caller.

Titov fired all streets with a bet of 29,000 on {K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, 85,000 on the {A-Hearts} turn, and all in for effectively 166,000 on the {J-Diamonds} river.

Chreem called all three streets with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and easily beat Titov's {9-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Peters Flushes Ateba to Retake the Chip Lead

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
David Peters from Day 3 of the Main Event
David Peters from Day 3 of the Main Event

David Peters opened from middle position to 23,000 and was called by Jean Ateba in position.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Peters continued out with a bet of 43,000. Ateba called.

On the {A-Clubs} turn, Peters bet once more, making it 85,000. Ateba called again.

The {9-Hearts} came on the river, and Peters bet one more time, this time making it 130,000. Ateba called quickly. Peters showed his {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the flopped nut flush and that allowed him to take down the pot when Ateba mucked.

With that pot, Peters has now moved back into the chip lead with nearly 1,500,000 chips
