Welcome to the first $25,000 Single-Day High Roller of the PokerStars Carribean Adventure 2019.

At the 2018 PokerStars Carribean Adventure, Jason Koon took down this event after topping a field of 58 runners that included 41 re-entries. Just eight players made the money including Nick Petrangelo, Benjamin Pollak, and Isaac Haxton. Koon ended up defeating Mikalai Vaskaboinikau heads-up to claim the $421,080 top prize.

When action gets underway at 2:00 p.m., players will start with 100,000 in chips. Levels will be of 30 minutes. There will be a 15-minute break every four levels and a 80-minute break at the completion of Level 8. One re-entry is permitted per player and registration will close at the start of Level 9.

There is also a 30-second shot clock governing the event. At the start of the play, each player will receive six time bank cards with a value of 30 seconds that they can use to get some more time to think. Players who make the final table will receive three additional time bank cards.

This is a one-day event however if a winner is not crowned by 04:00, play will resume on the following day at 12 p.m., or as announced.

A flop of {9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} was dealt. Petrangelo bet 11,000. Dvoress called.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Petrangelo continued with a bet of 26,000, which was enough to claim the pot.

Daniel Dvoress opened to 2,5000 under the gun. Lucas Reeves from one seat over called. Timothy Adams, in middle position, raised to 10,000. Action folded back to Dvoress who took a minute of reflection before moving all in for around 65,000. Both of his opponents quickly folded.

David Peters opened to 2,500 from middle position. Steve O'Dwyer, on the cutoff called, along with Joe Cada in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {3-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} that was checked around to the {5-Diamonds} turn. Cada and Peters checked. O'Dwyer bet 6,000. Cada check-raised to 18,500. Peters folded.

The {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and Cada moved all in for around 30,000. O'Dwyer snap-called. Cada showed {k-Spades}{6-Spades} and O'Dwyer tabled {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} to rake in the pot, sending Cada out.
