Kharkov Halts the Ditz-Train

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Alexander Kharkov
Alexander Kharkov

Franz Ditz has been steamrolling the table the past hour but took a hit to his sizable stack in a three-bet pot versus Alexander Kharkov. It was Ditz who had reraised to 60,000 from the blinds and Kharkov who had called in position.

On an {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Ditz bet 38,000, Kharkov raised to 95,000 and Ditz let it go. Kharkov showed the {A-Hearts} and collected the pot.

Ditz Busts Luca; Takes From Vogelsang

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ivan Luca
Ivan Luca

Franz Ditz opened to 11,000 from early position and was called by Chino Rheem in middle position, Ivan Luca in the cutoff then reraised to 60,000 with a mere 2,500 behind. Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind announced a reraise to 109,000 and Ditz used one time bank before moving all in. That forced out Rheem and Luca let his shot clock run down to one second before calling, which even made the dealer smile.

Vogelsang folded and the cards were turned over.

Ivan Luca: {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Franz Ditz: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} board gave Ditz broadway and he may have very well become the first player to reach one million in chips in this event.

Tang and Guerrero Tangle Twice

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Danny Tang opened to 10,000 and Jimmy Guerrero three-bet to 44,000 out of the small blind, Tang jammed for 140,000 and the snap call followed.

Tang was in trouble with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} against the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} of Guerrero, but hit a miracle river on the board {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Right after, Guerrero doubled back through Tang when his {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} held up on a board of {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Tang's cards were already mucked.

"One For the Old F*cker!"

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Patrick Quinn (middle)
Patrick Quinn (middle)

The animated Patrick Quinn, who's been causing a bit of a ruckus with non-stop banter, was all in with a very short stack against Eder Campana. Quinn's chips were already in on the turn when the board read {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Campana forced a third player out with a bet to get the cards on their backs.

Patrick Quinn: {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Eder Campana: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Quinn celebrated the double-up.

"One for the old f*cker!" he yelled. Quinn then turned his attention to a nearby table with several massage girls present.

"How you like me now? Let's create some f*cking drama here!" he cheered.
