Claas Segebrecht
Claas Segebrecht

A few hands before dinner break (at the feature table), Marc-Andre Ladouceur opened to 27,000 on the button with {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Claas Segebrecht called from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Simon Deadman, in the big blind, called with {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

The flop was {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Segebrecht and Deadman checked. Ladouceur bet 30,000 and both of his opponents called.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs} and was checked around to the {5-Spades} river. Segebrecht threw in a bet of 90,000. Deadman raised to 260,000. Ladouceur folded. Segebrecht went deep into the tank and burned through three extensions before mucking his cards with a disgusted look.

Strelitz Doubles Through Gofman

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

After an open raise, Aleksandr Gofman on the button three-bet to 100,000 and Daniel Strelitz in the small blind four-bet to 275,000. The initial raiser folded and Gofman called to see a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Strelitz continued right away for 150,000 and Gofman called.

On the {6-Hearts} turn, Strelitz fired a second barrel of 225,000 and Gofman tossed in calling chips to see the {Q-Hearts} on the river. Strelitz moved all in and Gofman asked for a call. The shove was for 621,000 total and Gofman tossed in a single chip for the call.

As soon as Strelitz turned over his {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}, Gofman mucked his cards in disgust. They were revealed as the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for the inferior full house and Gofman lost a big portion of his stack.

Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

To say it hasn't been the best of days for Pierre Calamusa at the table is quite the understatement. The Frenchman, who started off as the chip leader, couldn't get much going throughout Day 3 and was down to about 200,000 in chips when his final hand occured.

After unknown preflop action, the flop came {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Calamusa checked, Daniel Strelitz bet 45,000, Calamusa check-shoved and Strelitz had a very easy call.

Pierre Calamusa: {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Daniel Strelitz: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The {8-Spades} turn and {7-Hearts} river completed the board to end Calamusa's tournament in 25th place ($44,060). The 24 remaining players will redraw for the final three tables.

Right after winning the big pot, Chino Rheem splashed in a raise to 45,000 and went back to type on his phone. Andre Akkari from one seat over moved all in for around 270,000 and the action folded back to Rheem. By then, he had put his phone down and snap-called, then immediately said "good luck" to Akkari.

Andre Akkari: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Chino Rheem: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The PokerStars ambassador was in need of help and the spades were covered. He didn't connect with the board of {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Akkari was eliminated in 24th place for $44,060.

Filipe Oliveira Eliminated in 21st Place ($52,440)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Filipe Oliveira
Filipe Oliveira

Filipe Oliveira raised to 245,000 on the button, leaving himself with just 55,000 behind. Christoph Vogelsang three-bet shoved from the big blind and, with a payjump in sight, took his time.

Oliveira laughed at Vogelsang, as they both knew what was up. He stood up and looked at the other table before calling it off.

Filipe Oliveira: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Christoph Vogelsang: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

Vogelsang revealed first and Oliveira, after seeing Vogelsang's hand, showed only his jack at first to keep the other card a secret. The dealer didn't allow it and both cards had to be tabled.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Oliveira was drawing dead by the time the turn had arrived. The winner of the MILLIONS event in the Bahamas two months ago took home $52,440 for another Caribbean deep run.
