Chip Counts and Bustouts

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pardo and Caridade Among Latest Casualties

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Florian Duta claimed the remaining chips of Ricardo Caridade when he recalled an all-in showdown in which his pocket tens prevailed versus pocket sevens.

The rapid downfall of Juan Pardo also culminated in elimination, as Evan Sparling further increased his big stack. Pardo's ace-queen was flipping versus {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} in a duel, small blind versus button. Sparling remained ahead throughout the {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} board to end Pardo's run.

Neves Ferreira No More

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Rui Neves Ferreira was spotted on his way out and the chips were sent over to James Tolbert.

On a board of {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of Neves Ferreira had flopped two pair. However, Tolbert's {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top pair improved to a straight and that spelled the end for the Portuguese poker pro.

Zamani Chips Up Slightly

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ben Lamb raised it up on the button for Martin Zamani to defend the big blind. On a {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Zamani checked and then called a bet of 6,000. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn was checked by both and that led to the {10-Spades} river.

Zamani cut out some chips and then announced a bet worth 27,000, which triggered a snap-fold from Lamb.

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Kevin Rabichow
Kevin Rabichow

Mustapha Kanit opened to 5,000 from the cutoff and was called by Brian Kim on the button. Kevin Rabichow was in the small blind and mulled over his options before deciding to move all in for 105,000.

Kanit asked for a count and jammed as the big stack and Kim quickly folded.

Kevin Rabichow: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Mustapha Kanit: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Despite Kanit making a set on the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, Rabichow added more outs as he had a double-gutter to the straight. However, no nine or king appeared on the {5-Clubs} turn or {2-Spades} river and he exited the Main Event.

Nikolai Tulin
Nikolai Tulin

[Removed:554] raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Nikolai Tulin in the big blind. He eyeballed the stack of his opponent and [Removed:555] immediately mentioned he had started the hand with 43,500 in chips. Tulin grabbed into his T-5,000 chips and piled half a tower in for a raise to 50,000; the all-in call by [Removed:555] followed.

[Removed:554]: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Nikolai Tulin: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The dominated pair gained some equity with a gutshot on the {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop and {3-Clubs} turn. However, there was no further help on a blank {10-Spades} river and that spelled the end for [Removed:555].

Fast Gets No Gift From Rheem

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Chino Rheem made it 5,500 to go from early position and Dietrich Fast defended the big blind. Both checked the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and the {3-Hearts} turn. After the {7-Spades} river, Fast bet 5,000.

"Didi, this feels like a gift," Rheem mulled it over and then opted to fold.

"Where is the gift?" Fast replied and got the answer right away. "I gave it to you by folding," Rheem responded.

The defending champion remains near the top of the leaderboard in the final level of the day.

Duta Doubles Through Caridade

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Having defended the big blind against a button raise by Ricardo Caridade, Romania's Florian Duta earned a full double. They only got the chips in after the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs} river and Duta's {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush was the winning hand, while the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Caridade were no good.
