Santiago Plante

As the other players went on break, Santiago Plante and Daniel Rezaei were in the midst of battle. The board read {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on the turn and the pot had approximately 15,000 in it.

Plante checked to Rezaei, who then bet 6,000 into the swelling pot. Plante made the call and the two went to the river {10-Diamonds}.

Plante then led-jammed for around 30,000 and Rezaei promptly folded to award Plante the nice pot.

Li Takes Out Beresford

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Conor Beresford was in the small blind facing a four-bet of 10,000 from Victor Li in the cutoff. Beresford used a time bank card before five-betting all in for around 37,000. Li snap called slightly covering.

Conor Beresford: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Victor Li: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Beresford was in rough shape and needed an ace. It didn't come as the board ran out {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to eliminate Beresford from the tournament. Beresford sarcastically said "That was very fun." as he exited the tournament area.

All That..For That?

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

After an open to 800 by Rodrigo Seiji and a call from Lex Veldhuis on the button, small blind Joao Simao three-bet to 4,300. Adam Hendrix in the big blind put in a cold four-bet to 10,500, causing a fold from Seiji and Veldhuis.
After using a time bank, Simao made the call and the two went heads-up to a flop of {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Simao then check-called a continuation of 4,500 from Hendrix and they saw the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Simao again checked, but Hendrix kept his foot on the gas and bet another 9,000. After a few seconds, Simao made the call and they saw the river card fall the {a-Diamonds}.

This time, both players decided to check and the cards were shown:

Adam Hendrix: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Joao Simao: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

"All that for that, eh?" Tablemate Parker Talbot chirped as the two chopped the pot.
