Hu Cracks Cowboys To Send Maue To The Rail

In a pot of 75,000 on a flop showing {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Anthony Hu checked from early position to Leonard Maue next to act, who bet out 18,000. Hu put in a check-raise to 50,000 and Maue took a moment before moving all in for close to 200,000. Hu double-checked his cards before putting in chips for the call.

Maue was well in the lead but would need to fade the straight draw for Hu. The turn came the {2-Clubs}, which was safe for Maue, however, when the river fell the {7-Spades}, it was the straight that came through for Hu to eliminate Maue in 32nd place.

In a heads-up pot with close to 70,000 in the middle on a board showing {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Andrew Chen checked from the big blind to Kayhan Mokri in the cutoff who continued for 39,000. Chen made the call and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board.

Chen checked again and Mokri took a few seconds before knuckling the table to check back. Chen rolled over {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and took the pot when Mokri mucked his hand.
