Gingras Doubles

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Maurice Gingras opened the betting with a limp from early position before the player to his left made it 625 to go. There was a call from the small blind, and Gingras came along to the flop of {4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts} as well.

The small blind led out for 1,600 on the flop, and was called by both players. When the turn came {3-Diamonds} the small blind once again led out for 1,600 before Gingras came over top for the rest of his stack of 2,550. That sent the third player into the tank for several seconds before he shoved his stack, effectively forcing the small blind all in to continue. After a long think, she decided to get out of the way.

Gingras was in good shape with pocket fours for the flopped set, but his opponent was drawing to the nut flush with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. The river {k-Clubs} was a brick, and Gingras collected the double up

Faucher Rivers a Flush

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in early position raised to 500, Paulette Faucher was in the hijack and was the only player to make the call.

The players went heads up to a flop of {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds} which saw the original raiser put out a continuation bet of 600, Faucher made the call.

The {6-Diamonds} turn card was checked around and the player in early position fired 1,000 on the {a-Diamonds} river. Faucher took another look at her hand before she put out a raise to 3,000. Her opponent quickly made the fold and Faucher showed the {k-Diamonds} as she pulled in the pot.

Leclerc And Girneusky Chop One Up

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The action started with a limp under the gun followed by a limp from Leo Leclerc in middle position. The player next to act put in a raise to 600 which saw 4 players call, including Igor Girneusky from the small blind.

Girneusky was first to act on the flop of {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} and moved all in for his last 1,775. Only Leclerc made the call and the players turned their cards over.

Leclerc: {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Girneusky: {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Neither of the players had any backdoor draws which meant the run out of {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} would result in a chop pot.

Traill's Aces Score Big Pot

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Action opened from middle position with a raise to 275 before Wes Traill came overtop from the cutoff making it 600 to go. His opponent called to see a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Traill's opponent check-called a bet of 600.

The same action happened on the {k-Spades} turn, before Traill's opponent led out for 1,200 on the {j-Diamonds} river. Trail made it 4,000 to go, and after a short time in the tank, his opponent laid his hand down. Trail showed the table pocket aces with the {a-Spades} and his opponent said he folded the {q-Spades}
