Yu On the Rail; Siow Doubles

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

"Kings against ace-king and one guy already folded an ace," Winfred Yu sighed as he departed from the feature table. It appears that Hamish Crawshaw was the one to deal the final blow as he raked in the pot. The Kiwi had three-bet an open raise by
Kannapong Thanarattrakul, who then folded the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to the four-bet shove by Yu in the big blind.

Winfred Yu: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Hamish Crawshaw: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} runout delivered the blow for Yu as Crawshaw continued to cruise.

In the meanwhile on the outer tables, Choon Tong Siow called all-in for the last 345,000 and was up against {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} with his {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. The {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board kept Siow in the mix.

Crawshaw Chips Up Versus Sai

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hamish Crawshaw raised to 80,000 with the {a-Spades}{5-Spades} and received multiple callers including Benjamin Sai with the {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. Only Sai called a bet worth 80,000 on the {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and the {2-Hearts} turn paired the board. The Kiwi bet another 250,000 and Sai elected to fold with his gutshot straight flush draw.

More for Pham and Ewe

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

According to [Removed:446], Abhinav Iyer was elimintaed in a four-bet pot when his ace-queen ran into the ace-king of Eng Sian Ewe.

The same table then featured a battle of the blinds between Wai Kiat Lee and Dung Tien Pham. Lee limped in and called a raise for 80,000 more by Pham to then check-call the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 105,000. He did so again for 380,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn and checked the {7-Diamonds} river.

Pham bet 775,000 and Lee tank-folded after using two time banks.

Another Double for Chong

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kartik Ved and Victor Chong got their chips into the middle with the latter at risk for the final 475,000 in the following preflop contest.

Victor Chong: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Kartik Ved: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board gave Chong a set and Ved's stack was reduced to fumes.

Tang and Chan Lead the Way

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Since moving to the feature table, Wai Leong Chan has increased his stack significantly and he added even more chips with the elimination of Thinh Thai Chu. Eng Siang Ewe got a shove through on the outer tables and flashed the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} before he then doubled shortly after.

The only other player close to Chan is Devan Tang with a near identical stack.

End of the Road for Ng and Lim

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Wai Loon Ng
Wai Loon Ng

Chi-Jen Chu raised to 60,000 and Wai Loon Ng moved all-in for 555,000- Devan Tang cold-called and Chu folded.

Wai Loon Ng: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Devan Tang: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"I folded eights," Chu said in the table chat. None of the pocket pairs hit on the {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} board and that spelled the end for Ng.

Soon after, Chin Wei Lim jammed for the last 205,000 from under the gun and Chu called in the big blind.

Chin Wei Lim: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Chi-Jen Chu: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The dominated ace was drawing dead on turn of a {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} runout as the field dropped down further.

Pham Knocks Out Chung

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ming San Chung got his chips in with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. He was up against the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Dung Tien Pham and the {6-Diamonds} turn left him drawing dead, making the {k-Spades} river a formality.
