William Teoh

In the last hand before the break, William Teoh and Fu Chi Sze got into a preflop raising war in which the latter was the player at risk for 36,400.

Fu Chi Sze: KK
William Teoh: A10

The 843 flop and 5 turn gave Teoh a straight and flush draw. However, the 8 river was a brick and Teoh had to part ways with nearly two thirds of his stack.

Mondalo Back to a Big Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Three ways to the AQ6Q turn, it checked to Bonifacio Mondalo and he bet 6,000. Only one opponent called while Min Hwa Kim folded, then sighed when he spotted the K on the river. It checked to Mondalo again and he bet 20,000.

His opponent had just 7,000 behind and Mondalo was trying to talk him into a call, yet the reluctant fold followed. Mondalo flashed the J7 for a bluff and Kim joked "ah, flush draw on the river!".

Pak Sent Packing by Samant

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Three ways to the J652 turn, Kanishka Samant checked and William Teoh bet 6,600. Valeriy Pak then jammed for 10,200 and Samant moved all-in over the top. Teoh inquired with the floor if the shove was possible and since Samant check-raised, that was the case, forcing out Teoh in the process.

Valeriy Pak: J8
Kanishka Samant: KK

The 3 on the river brought an end to the first bullet of Pak.

Mondalo Takes a Hit Against Kim

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Bonifacio Mondalo was not pleased at all when he had to pay off Min Hwa Kim, as his cards were already dragged into the muck. On a board of 942A8, Kim's K4 had flopped middle pair, turned the nut flush draw and got there on the river to score a full double for 20,900.

Mondalo banged his hand on the table in disgust.
