Artem Utevskii raised in the cutoff and Gai Lax Lim three-bet to 34,000 on the button. Table big stack Lijun Zhang called out of the big blind for Utevskii to jam for 97,000 total. Lim folded and Zhang asked for an exact count to then sigh-fold after more than two minutes.

More than half the level has already passed and no further player has been eliminated, leaving 26 hopefuls still in contention.

Tsang's Turn to Double as Teoh Tumbles Only Briefly

Alan Tsang was all-in for 68,000 with the K♦K♥ and William Teoh had some outs holding the A♦Q♠. The pair remained ahead on the 10♠4♣3♣10♦5♦ board and Tsang doubled.

Teoh was then all-in for 73,000 and Chi Fu Sze jammed out of the small blind with the covering stack. Jose Drilon folded the 9♠9♣ in the big blind and the next all-in showdown unfolded.

Lim Fires Three Barrels Against Zhang

Gai Lax Lim raised to 12,000 and chip leader Lijun Zhang called out of the big blind. On a 6♠2♠2♦ flop, Zhang check-called for 15,000 and did so again for 25,000 on the K♠ turn. The river brought a fourth spade with the 5♠ and Zhang checked the third street in a row.

Lim now pushed all-in for 54,000 and Zhang folded after getting an exact count.

"Show the bluff," Alessandro Taranto demanded and Lim flashed the 4♠.

Sze Gets a Shove Through

Wooseok Kim raised to 12,000 on the button and Chi Fu Sze jammed for 96,000 in the small blind. Jose Drilon in the big blind was pained by his decision and sighed. He then grabbed his smart phone to record his cards when checking them again, before tanking another 45 seconds.

The fold followed and Kim also let go as well.

Jose Drilon doubled for 69,000 when his 7♥6♥ beat the A♠10♣ of William Teoh thanks to a K♦Q♥8♥5♠A♥ runout, which improved Drilon to a flush eventually.

Moments later, Ricardo Torres jammed the Q♦9♣ and Alessandro Taranto called with the A♦6♦ out of the blinds. The A♣Q♣5♦8♠2♥ board brought an end to the run of Torres.

"I take from them and we give to you," the Italian joked towards the table chip leader Lijun Zhang.

One further all-in showdown took place when Kanishka Samant flipped for the last 51,000 versus Hal Rotholz.

A rather small pot emerged to the 6♦5♥4♥A♦ turn on which Wai Loon Ng checked. Hal Rotholz bet 11,000 for Ng to then push all-in for all with a large stack which Rotholz had covered. That sent the American into the tank and he then folded.

"Two pair and a flush draw," Ng mentioned in the table chat.

Torres Doubles Utevskii; Survives After

Artem Utevskii had survived an all-in showdown in a battle of short stacks versus Ricardo Torres, who was then all-in for 11,000 out of the big blind next. Alessandro Taranto opened to 10,000 and folded when Utevskii pushed all-in.
