On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the K♠9♦5♠Q♣4♥ river, David Erquiaga bet 18,000. Cezar Quiambao quickly called but mucked upon getting shown the J♦10♦ for the nut straight by Erquiaga.
Their table broke soon after as the field was rapidly reduced to just 70 contenders.
The action started with a raise to 6,000 by Tom Radbone in the hijack and Ronn Mesina three-bet to 20,000 out of the small blind. Radbone opted to call and that led them to the J♥3♣2♥ flop. Mesina continued for 16,500 and Radbone then raised to 43,000.
Mesina pondered about his next move for a short while and jammed, forcing a quick fold from Radbone.
In a single-raised pot to the Q♣J♦9♥ flop, Richard Marquez got it in for a stack of 47,500 and Joseph Reyes did so for around 65,000.

Some 81 players remain and half of them will make the money on the second of three flights. The next scheduled 15-minute break is now underway and all but one table is in the same area.
Florencio Campomanes had previously beaten the pocket queens of Vincent Wong with ace-nine to reduce the stack of Wong below the average.
However, Campomanes never recovered from doubling David Erquiaga and then got it in for 38,500 preflop against Cezar Quiambao.

With both suits also covered, Campomanes didn't find an escape anymore on the 9♠7♣4♥3♥9♦ runout to hit the rail.
Ryan McAllister won a three-way all-in when his 9♣9♥ flopped a set on the Q♦10♣9♦ flop. A shorter stack got it in with the J♦10♥ for a pair and open-ender while Eng Soon Ewe had both covered and revealed the A♣A♠.
The 6♦ turn and J♣ river changed nothing and McAllister jumped to eleven times the starting stack. After that, he won several other pots and leaped well ahead of everyone else at the table.
Richard Marquez in the small blind called a raise to 7,000 and then led the Q♥6♦2♦ flop. His opponent folded and exposed a suited ace including the A♣, which Marquez had beat until that point with the J♦J♠.
A shorter stack was flipping with the 8♠8♦ and Jhon Hendri looked them up with the A♦J♥. The two overcards hit on the A♣J♦6♣ flop and no help arrived on the 9♠ turn nor 9♣ river.
One table over, Thijs Hilberts lost a duel of short stacks when his A♣8♣ hit the flop versus ace-jack but running cards to a straight appeared. The Dutchman was one of several recent casualties with now just 80 players still remaining.
