Nicola Montalbano raised to 60,000 with the A♣Q♥ from under the gun and Won Jae Lee three-bet to 160,000 from the next seat. Edwin Dela Cruz then four-bet to 400,000 and the blinds as well as Montalbano folded.
Lee went into the tank for some four minutes to then call for more than one third of his stack.
The Q♣Q♠2♥ flop saw Lee check-call for 100,000 with 615,000 behind and that brought the 8♦ on the turn. Lee checked once more and Dela Cruz now bet 400,000, just staring blankly at the middle of the table behind his shades.
Lee tanked for three minutes to then check-call again, which led to the 4♦ river. The South Korean jammed for the rest of it, was snap-called.
Won Jae Lee: 5♥5♣
Edwin Dela Cruz: K♣K♥
Lee was trailing all the way and hit the rail in 13th place.

William Teoh opened to 70,000 in the cutoff and David Erquiaga called in the big blind. The 8♣8♦4♣ flop was check-raised by Erquiaga from 105,000 to 250,000 and Teoh got sticky.
Both then checked down the 10♦ turn and the 10♥ river.
"Seven high, I missed everything," Erquiaga said with a grin on the face and only exposed the 7♠. He then also revealed the 3♠ and Teoh won the pot with the K♣K♥ for kings and tens.

Over on the outer table, William Teoh checked the K♠J♥5♦ flop and called a bet worth 100,000 by Tor Welo. The J♦ followed on the turn and Teoh checked again. Welo bet 220,000 only for Teoh to check-raise to 500,000 total.
Welo then moved all-in and Teoh called it off after a minute of consideration.
Tor Welo: A♥J♣
William Teoh: K♣10♣
Teoh shouted for a king but the J♠ river let Welo double for 805,00 with quads jacks.

Won Jae Lee made it 65,000 to go with the K♣10♣ and earned a call from Kok Weng Beh out of the big blind, who held the 3♦2♦.
The 9♥6♥4♦ flop was checked by both and Beh led the 8♦ turn for 45,000. Lee called with king-high and did so again for 170,000 on the 5♠ river, having missed the entire board. Beh had the bottom end of the straight and pulled ahead of Lee, who dropped further into the middle of the pack.

Anthony Tacda raised it up to 70,000 and was three-bet to 230,000 by David Erquiaga in the big blind. The initial raiser glanced back at the tournament info screen and jammed for around 700,000, Erquiaga quickly called.
Anthony Tacda: J♥10♥
David Erquiaga: A♠10♠
When Tacda showed his cards, Erquiaga was almost shocked and let out a scream. As the local crowd gathered, both players held draws on the K♣Q♠6♠ flop. Nothing changed with the 6♣ turn and the 2♠ river improved the already superior hand of Erquiaga to a flush.
"I am here to win it," Tacda said and added "just look at all the short stacks." Instead of winning it, Tacda has to settle for 14th place.
