Fei Chen raised to 120,000 with the 10♦9♦ and then got out of the way when Sriharsha Doddapaneni jammed for the last 660,000 and Danny Tang isolated.

The 6♦6♠2♦2♥3♣ runout provided no help to Doddapaneni and the field was reduced to the last eight contenders with six of them being in the money.
Wai Loon Ng suffered several setbacks and did so again when he got it in for the last few blinds in a battle of the blinds against Fei Chen.

The board ran out K♠8♣4♣7♥A♣ and Ng's cruel fate ended in tenth place.
Over on the outer table, Gary Thompson was involved from under the gun and Danny Tang joined him on the button with the flop showing 7♣3♠3♥. Thompson's bet of 240,000 was called by Tang and the same action repeated on the 8♣ turn for 470,000.
Thompson checked the 9♣ river and Tang jammed with the covering stack. The Irishman mulled it over and made the call with Q♠8♠, which secured a large double as Tang had made a power move with the 7♦6♦.
After an elimination on the feature table, the next all-in showdown took place on the outer table.
Kitson Kho jammed his short stack from the button to get called by Danny Tang in the big blind.

The Q♦J♥3♠5♣J♣ board failed to improve the local player and that brought the field down to the last 10 contenders.
Fei Chen raised to 130,000 with the 3♠3♦ and William Teoh jammed for 750,000 with the A♥3♣ out of the big blind, which Chen called.
"Anyone have an ace?" Teoh grinned to the other players at the table. There was no help on the J♣6♦5♦K♦8♣ board and Teoh barely returned to the feature table to collect his belongings before leaving again.
Sriharsha Doddapaneni limped in the K♠K♥ and Eng Soon Ewe raised to 150,000 only for the Indian to limp-raise to 400,000. Ewe called with the A♦J♣ and they checked the K♦8♦5♦ flop. After the 7♦ turn, Doddapaneni check-called for 200,000 and checked again the 4♣ on the river.
Ewe then bet 600,000 and Doddapaneni tanked for a long time and lost several time bank extensions to then make the crying call. He was shown the nuts and dropped to a very short stack once again. Lester Edoc has also vanished from the same table as the field was reduced to 12 hopefuls.
Wai Kiat Lee ripped it in preflop with the K♣9♦ and Gary Thompson happily called with the A♠K♦.
The Malaysian was drawing dead on the A♥7♥4♥10♠ turn to make the 6♣ river a formality.
The outer table hasn't provided any major action as of lately but that changed when a battle of the blinds between Winfred Yu and Gary Thompson escalated eventually.
Yu check-called a bet of 120,000 on the A♦K♦8♣10♥ turn. He then jammed the Q♠ river and Thompson called after brief consideration. The Short Deck Super High Roller champion tabled the 5♦4♦ for a busted flush draw, which Thompson had beat holding the 8♠8♦ for a set of eights.
Eng Siang Ewe raised to 80,000 and folded to a shove by Lee Wee Liew.
Shortly after, Liew open-jammed and Takashi Ogura did so from the next seat in order to isolate.

Liew flopped the nut flush draw on K♦10♠2♦ but failed to get any help on the 6♣ turn and 8♣ river.
Eng Soon Ewe raised to 60,000 with the 9♦9♣ and William Jia three-bet to 260,000 with the A♣Q♠, which Ewe called.
Jia subsequently bet all streets for 120,000 on the 10♠5♠2♠ flop, 450,000 on the 8♣ turn and jammed the 2♥ river. Ewe had 845,000 behind and eventually called it off with his pair to win the largest pot of the tournament so far.
